Amazing place to stay, 5 out of 5!

5 out of 5. Our first trip together to Bermuda. We were on our baby moon. The staff and service was outstanding all weekend long. We stayed Thursday to Tuesday. AJ at the front desk, checked us in and was a great start to our stay. Lisa at The Natura Spa was unbelievable - best massage of my life hands down. We did the breakfast package and received great service every morning. Above and beyond. The Dive Shop was super nice, I snorkeled the shipwreck right off the beach. Swimming in the Prospero’s Cave each day was very refreshing (just jump right in, you get used to the water quickly) and was very revitalizing. We will definitely be making a return trip to Bermuda, which will be extra special once we have the little one in tow! Thank you for making our trip so memorable and taking such great care of us! Lily and Zack 💜

Good choice for Bermuda with Family.

First time staying at Grotto Bay. Super convenient from the airport in less than 10 mins. Room was nice enough, bathroom was really small and tired and the flooring in the room was a vinyl textured material that felt cheap. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Walls were very thin and we could here all conversations (and more) of our neighbors quite clearly.. Grounds are really beautiful and the cave is pretty amazing to enjoy. Pool is on the small size for the size of the resort and the hot tub was silly small. Beach is beautiful. Staff is all really great and friendly. All inclusive add on is worth it even with the weak menu selections available particularly for dinner. We ordered a pizza as an app to make up for the lack of selections available. Breakfast buffet was good with ample choices available. Lunch outside near the pool is good as well. Bar area and entertainment was good as well. Be aware the resort has many many stairs and narrow paths. If any of your party has mobility issues that may be difficult to overcome.

    Great Family Spot

This was a nice resort, the food and drinks were very good. Highly recommend the all-inclusive option, even if you plan to leave the resort for dinner. The spa was amazing, definitely get a massage while you're there as it's a unique experience in the cave. Swim in the Cathedral Cave as well if you get a chance, it's cold but very cool. Water sports were readily available and the bus pass you get with the AI package was great. We could easily go anywhere on the island we wanted. Gratuity is included but I always bring extra cash to resorts to tip staff for exceptional service. For me, this wouldn't be somewhere I would want to go for a couples trip or honeymoon, it's definitely more family friendly. The AC in our room was not working and they were able to replace the entire unit the next day for us. The floors were pretty dirty but housekeeping came by and steam cleaned them for us. All of our needs were met while staying at the resort. I will say the walls are very thin and we had some VERY loud neighbors participating in late night activities. If we had children with us I absolutely would have asked to move rooms, however, I did not bring this to the attention of the staff as they checked in 2 days into our stay and I really did not want to pack/unpack again. I am certain the resort would have accommodated us if we had asked.

Amazing BERMUDA! Amazing RESORT! (Just fix your dining!).

Accommodations: The rooms were perfect — clean, comfortable, and extremely quiet. The bed was fine, and the bathroom (especially the shower) was great. It was easy to fully relax and recharge here. Beach & Pool: The pool was lovely, but the real gem is the beach — just a one-minute stroll from our room. The sand was soft and pristine, and the water was more beautiful than any photo could capture — truly breathtaking. Water sports were simple to arrange and a joy to do. Everything about the beach experience felt luxurious and easy. Vibe & Location: The location couldn't be better. Just 5 minutes from the Blue Hole, it’s ideally situated for exploring. The entire resort has a peaceful, restorative vibe that makes it the perfect place to unwind. This is easily one of the most restful and calming vacations I’ve ever had. Caves: The caves on the property are absolutely magical — unique, peaceful, and a total highlight of the trip. My daughter couldn't stay out of them. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was spotty throughout our stay — slow and unreliable. Honestly, though, disconnecting a bit added to the restful vibe. If you need to work, that might be an issue. Dining: This was by far the biggest drawback. Dining was wildly inconsistent and frustratingly slow. Lunch: Slow but delicious. Breakfast: One morning was wonderful. The next, the French toast was literally raw. Day three had great pancakes, but the eggs were inedible. Dinner: Night 1: Buffet — mediocre. Night 2: Surprisingly excellent food. Night 3: Just awful. Dinner service was extremely slow — often 2 to 2.5 hours, which made evenings feel long and draining, especially with kids. Food Allergies: Unfortunately, the dining staff — while the rest of the resort staff were absolutely wonderful — seemed visibly annoyed and irritated anytime we brought up our daughter’s food allergies. Despite informing them in advance and reminding them daily, they made no real effort to accommodate her dietary needs. She ended up eating plain white rice for three consecutive dinners, which was unacceptable at a resort of this level. Staff: Everyone else we encountered — from housekeeping to front desk to beach staff — was friendly, kind, and went out of their way to make the stay special. It’s a shame the dining team felt so different. One in particular, Glady, really hated us. Like, he...hated us. Cost & Value: It’s definitely expensive — but the beach, beauty, and sense of calm still made it feel worth it overall. Tip: Definitely do the All-Inclusive plan. For us, it ended up saving money, and considering the high cost of à la carte dining, it was a smart move — even with the dining issues. It's not "All Inclusive" like at Bahamian resort. More like...just meals and drinks are paid for. ⭐️ Final Verdict: Grotto Bay is a truly beautiful, restful place to stay, with perfect accommodations, a stunning beach, and an unbeatable location. The water is unreal, and the peaceful vibe makes it easy to truly unwind. If the dining team improves — especially in how they handle food allergies — this could be a five-star experience. I would return in a heartbeat, just with a few snacks and slightly lowered expectations for dinner.

Nice place to visit - as long as you don't need the Internet.

Everything was great, except the Wi-Fi, which was quite poor - all day long. I didn't try it after midnight, so if you're a night owl, maybe it's there. If you need connectivity, don't plan on getting it here. I got a lot better connectivity at a local tavern. Our housekeeper was superb. The front desk people were good, as was the concerige. Food was good, but expensive.
