The Brenna bar at the pool, the staff is amazing! We were like familia by the end of our 10 day trip! Very friendly very accommodating!!! So sad to leave!! Not sure what we will do when the time comes to mix our our drinks! Best apicy margaritas in all of mexico, do see Leydi, and Rolando, silvino and ibanue! Beatris!!! Love them!

Overall the hotel, facilities etc were great. Having done what others have and read the mixed reviews, we came very open minded to the hotel. Starting with the room, yes I agree with others that there was a certain aroma to the rooms but this is a humid country and as such because they operate their AC in an eco way, the room doesn’t get really dry. We noticed the clothing in the wardrobe suffered a bit from this. Food wise, plenty of choice in the buffet to suit all tastes. The al a carte restaurants are a mix of different foods which we had no issues finding something we liked. The only slight negative I’d say was the Italian where the pizza is not the best, but I get that can be down to personal preferences. Pools, we opted for the relaxing pool and it worked great for us. Neither of us wanted to spend the day with loud music and general loud noise that the activity pool has. Plenty of lunch options around, we favoured Casa Alma as it had a daily BBQ. What I would defo recommend is “The Good Bar” for your fruit smoothies. Especially the amazing Angelica whose smile was ever present even when the bar was packed. My smoothies choice was the Wonder Berry and I’ll miss them when I’m home. As for other staff we encountered, everyone was pleasant and helpful and seemed eager to assist. Tips go a long way with staff so grab your pesos and show your appreciation for them.

Todo el equipo excelente! Oscar, Elmer Leonardo e Felipe. Everyone is so amazing we’re having a wonderful time! Everyone is so friendly and super accommodating with all of my allergies and everyone’s eating habits! We will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Wow what a amazing resort. First time in mexico. Loved ever minute of our stay. Room amazing staff amazing. Loved seeing the monkeys and all the wildlife. I really cant understand the negatives reviews Cant wait to come back. Staff work so hard. Cant do enough for you x

Great resort!
Natan was the best bartender I have ever visited at any resort. He makes the best drinks and if you ask for “a special” he will make you one of his very many good concoctions. He’s so kind and hope to come back to this resort just to see him. He works at the Sambay, if you have a chance to go there, definitely do. Also butchers restaurant at the resort was the best I have ever been to. They accommodated us many times and even asked for an extra plate of mac and cheese and we’re kind enough to give it. Can’t say enough about this resort.
