Beware of the food and drink! Nothing was edible. Sewage leaking from fridge. All inclusive and we were told no more than 4 beers a day. Fish sat out for hours on the buffet all day. You could smell it even outside of the dining area.

Can we not have some quiet time here!!! Never silence to relax, hear the ocean and the birds. Always music blasting out by the pool! -A Loud speaker with music and the DJ trying to get people to play stupid games! This place needs some quiet time for R &R, read, and hear the sounds of nature! I didn’t come down here to be at a constant party!!

Terrible experience
This hotel was not worth it the only thing worth paying for was the view. There was no variety of foods and they were all bland. If you’re traveling with children there will be no meals for them the buffet never had fries, chicken nuggets, or pizza or any kids meals. We didn’t eat much and somehow we got food poisoning we had to sign a waiver we felt ok to board the plane so keep that in mind before going here. They also offered climate controlled pools online and that was not the case the hotel had a lot of shade in the pool areas and water was freezing cold. The room was no good either the curtains, backboard, and sheets were dirty. The bathroom would get flooded each time we took a shower since the glass door had a gap. We wrestled with the room door each time it would get stuck and would take us forever to be able to go inside our room. It didn’t exceed any expectations in any way I wouldn’t go back or recommend anyone to stay here you’re better off staying somewhere closer to the malecon. There’s restaurants near with good food and activities and you won’t have to pay a taxi every time you would like to go out since that’s where most of our money went.

We had a great time and loved the views. Every room has an ocean-facing view. Staff are everywhere at all times and very attentive. We never had to look far to get help and always felt safe with so many staff everywhere. Great buffet (Veranda) with so many different choices each day. El Pescador was great too for breakfast and lunch, however Veranda was the best. Specialty restaurants are okay. Amazing water and sand made swimming in the ocean very enjoyable. Hotel is 30 seconds away from bus that takes you straight to town. Very modern looking resort and it is kept very clean. Drinks and bars were good too. Always had activities scheduled throughout the day for guests and had specialty shows in the evenings every night. Would definitely recommend this resort. Those who complain about the staff not speaking English perhaps have forgotten that we are the guests in their country. We never had any issues communicating with the staff. Concierge staff were the best, followed by the activity team.

Overall this is a great resort. Location is amazing for whale watching on the beach but the area is really not ocean swimmable. We were there the first week of March and the Ocean was quite rough. The cold pool was extremely cold, the pool with the swim up bar was warmer. Keys are your wristbands which is extremely handy and I love that fact that they give you reusable water bottles and there are filling stations. The food was pretty good, no complaints there really. Take the bus for 10pesos to either Mismaloya or PV. they are short bus rides. I don’t think I have any advice really but if you like long walks on the beach this isn’t the place for you. All in all we enjoyed it & would possibly go back.
