Don’t waste your time or money!
We booked this hotel (for the last night of our honeymoon) based off the reputation and high reviews of Oasis. Where do I start.. Checkin in for sens was on a separate floor, started off great but would have just been faster at the front desk downstairs. Luggage to our room also took forever so we ended up going back down to collect ourselves. Could not get a reservation at any of the Restaurants and was told by the front desk that they don’t have an enough seating in the restaurants for guest numbers. Might explain other reviews on ridiculous wait times in general. Thought being a luxury hotel the bedding would be at a much higher standard. We had to ask for blankets to be bought up and there was only 1 actual pillow in the cupboard. Tried to call reception and guest services multiple times for another with no success. Air con was broken, was like an ice box. Power short circuited and had none for about 4-5 hours in room. Had to call 3 times about having it rectified. We stayed on a Thursday night. No evening entertainment other then belly dancing.. The food was ok but not what you would expect at a Luxury hotel. No room service and no way to request anything via the app, everything manual via calling the front desk. Staff we delt with were always friendly. Best part about room was ocean view, they are not as advertised and luxury like we were expecting. Was a complete let down for our last night on holidays before a 20 hour flight home. Wanted something nice and lush and a comfortable bed for good nights sleep.

We will not book this hotel ever again
We (3 x 35-year-old women) based our selection of this hotel on the incredible reviews. We also wanted to be close to Cancun as I have never been to this part of Mexico. We usually go on vacation to all inclusive 2 times/year all over the Caribbean. The beach is not as per the pictures on any websites. It is very small, and the water is yellow/green in front of the hotel. The section where it is permitted to swim is small and is also where you can use kayaks so not that pleasant. We are currently there so our stay is from Nov 6-13, 2024. 99% of the persons in the resort are Mexicans. The food at the buffet is catered with this in mind. The restaurants are all excellent and very easy to book through the app. There is a lot of kids everywhere. The main pool is very small, not in the sun and it was always full. There is a 2nd spot with pools that needs to be reserved which is also in the shadow. There is one discothèque, and it wasn’t clear when it was open. The service everywhere is excellent. Everyone is very nice & attentive. Drinks are the best part of the resort. You can use the ferry 5 minutes from the hotel to go to Isla Mujeres (USD 34 both ways). It is way cheaper than booking a full tour. Once, on the island, you can have a chair at any restaurant/hotel if you buy for a minimum of x $. The beach is amazing!!!! Downtown Cancun is 10 minutes away on a bus ($1/each way) and very easy & fun to go to. ***We would not book this hotel again. If you look at the reviews, you can see the Spanish names of the reviewers, so it is probably why the rating is so high***

The experience was entertaining and the food was amazing. Our waiter Bartolome made it even more memorable. It is an experience for all ages, young and old. I recommend this restaurant as a must try for everyone. It is something I have never experienced before.
