    Amazing !!

Beautiful hotel. The back deck with the pool overlooking the river was phenomenal. Beds super comfy. Van very convenient and ran a lot. Conrad at valet was very helpful. Elaine and Ben at breakfast were always a pleasure. And Patty’s snowshoeing activity , which was included with the resort fee, was amazing!

    Experience

This hotel is fantastic! The staff are super friendly especially Conrad who brought our bags to our room! They open the door for you everytime they see you walk in or out of the hotel. One of my favorite things about the hotel was the snowshoeing with Patty which was one of the activities. She was extremely accommodating and very friendly. She explained a lot about the aspen trees etc. I do wish the hotel would provide more activities tho especially for 50$ PP for resort fees. The shuttle takes you into town which is super convenient. The rooms were nice, clean and cozy. You could text for housekeeping. The breakfast was so delicious! They have a heated pool with gorgeous views and hot tubs also. Overall my friend and i had a great time!

Choose another property for your visit

The Grand Hyatt Vail is a run-down property that may have been a different brand before being acquired by Hyatt. It should not be rated as a Category 7 Hyatt property. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful; others were not. I would not stay there again. I have included a photo of the mold in the shower in the room I was "upgraded" to.

    Ski in Ski out

It is a very professional hotel with lots of amenities. The hotel is close to lift 20 to access the ski resort. Great shuttle service into the villages. The local ski shop in the hotel valets your skis and will keep your boots overnight in a heated room.

    Best place in Vail

The hotel is gorgeous, the views are magnificent but the best is the service. A real ski in-out, the chair #20 is next to the ski rental inside the hotel. Closer, impossible. Special thanks to Uzair that was there for everything, definitely we will go back, and mainly because him.
