Feb 23, 2025Overall Great with some room for improvement for the food.
The property and staff are wonderful here. We had been to the Cancun location several times and this was our first time in Cabo. We will definitely return! Pro’s: STAFF!! So many people worth calling out for excellent service. At breakfast, Alex Santos and Angel greeted us with smiles and hot coffee. The pool entertainment was also wonderful. I forget the man’s name who led water aerobics, but he had a fun and positive energy. Even our 11yr old daughter had fun. Nicole made bingo fun. It definitely helped us enjoy the pool more. Pool Yoga was also great! Blu was our favorite restaurant by far. Their lunch menu is terrific. Javier is stellar - we were a little sad we didn’t get to say goodbye since he was off our last 2 days there. But Pedro took great care of us and Enrique was also wonderful. Both managers Anacelli and the day manager (i forget her name) were so friendly and checked in on our meal. The stuffed donut was a highlight! But we enjoyed everything (except the shrimp cocktail - that wasn’t for me). We actually liked the lunch menu more than dinner, but that’s just our preference. Our room was also great. The view was spectacular because it’s whale season and we saw so many whales every day. Between whales breaching, clapping their fins or tail against the water, or even seeing their blowholes, made the room a special place to be. The couch was comfortable to sleep on and the bed was the right balance of a soft pillow top but still firm. I didn’t realize the villa came with 2 toilets, a full shower and a bathtub, which was convenient. CONS: the food wasn’t as consistent as Cancun. The sushi restaurant is ok, the Grill is fine, Rosato was a bit of a hit/miss. Some dishes were great, while others missed the mark for us (the smoked watermelon was wayyyy too smoky, the pork was too salty, the short rib was very fatty). But Peninsula’s dinner was bad. Everything was super salty and just tasted like soy sauce. I really want to help them improve their recipes bc there’s potential but I wouldn’t recommend eating there as is. Overall, we would return during whale season. Otherwise, we may have to go back to the Cancun location for better food and evening entertainment.

Alejandro at FAVC concierge desk treated us terribly when we needed a correct a charge on our credit card. Alejandro was bothered and was going to make it as difficult as possible for us to get our credit. Try and avoid having to work with Alejandro at the front FAVC desk if needed

Fiesta Americana Vacation Club Los Cabos All Inclusive- great place to visit. Guadalupe, Fernando, Emiliano y Carlos. Best bartenders I ever met!! Professional, friendly, creative, and knowledgeable!. Great team!!! We can’t wait to get back!!!

Breakfast and Lunch with Rodrigo
Just had lunch at the Peninsula Bar with Rodrigo as our server (breakfast as well). Service and food were both top notch. Rodrigo was very accommodating and made certain that we were very well taken care of. Definitely would highly recommend both!

Fun entertainment team!
Nicole is the best at her job! Amazing personality and so fun and warm to be around. She does bingo at the fiesta pool and water aerobics too! The entertainment team as a whole is so much fun to be around and interact with each day! Meet her if you are there!
