    Windy, but fun. We were still able play outside, swim and enjoy the beach.

    It was a great trip! We experienced great service and friendly staff. Darvin Garu and Castillo were a super servers. The entertain staff never disappoints, especially Yzrael and Rubin. We miss seeing Nina outside. Alan went above and beyond providing lactose free milk. Angel catered to our poolside needs. Thank you GR Solaris for being amazing and making us feel truly at home!

    Amazing experience

    The service here was amazing! Rosario was our housekeeper and she did an amazing job with keeping our room clean and well put together every single time! Another employee I have to mention is Rosaura! She was very helpful and friendly to us during our stay. Overall, I would recommend Solaris to everyone!

    Trip to Cancun April 2025, and we stayed at GR Dolaris

    The entertainment workers: Julio, Marco, Gracie, and Ruben and waiters at Marco Polo and Rosmarinas were so nice and respectful and made the trip and experience so much better. All around had such an amazing time and will always look forward to coming back.😊😊

    Great for families

    We had a great time at GR Solaris. Mom travelling with 3 kids under 10. Felt very safe and smaller size of the resort perfect for us. My kids enjoyed the kids club with Bel & Adi. 10am craft time was a daily hit and the face painting was exciting for my girls. The kids club is warm and welcoming and the team goes the extra mile to include all children and ensure they are safe while having a lot of fun. This was an unexpected hit for our family as I didn’t anticipate that we would use kids club at all. We loved the beach and pool. We spent time at the “sister” GR resorts during our stay. Was nice to see another kids water slide area for a change of pace but I far preferred the Gr Solaris pool area to the other resorts. The staff work hard and are mostly friendly and helpful. A note to tourists…a resort stays cleaner when you also clean up after yourself. I was disappointed to see the amount of people leaving food plates by the pool which then attracted birds and occasionally meant there was a chunk of pizza in the pool. The staff work hard to clean but there is some personal responsibility. (Or is everyone just leaving food everywhere in their homes too?!) I think quite a few rooms have adjoining doors to serve large groups/families. The door locks well etc but it does make the other room noises travel room to room. Pack your kids headphones for when the neighbours are having some pre dinner fun. My biggest frustration was when I tried to use the doctor (that the app told me was available M-F @$150 USD), I was told the dr was not onsite (as the app leads you to believe) and the price is 300$USD. Things the resort does not clearly communicate: There is an app!! Use it asap when you arrive to book dinners as the buffet does grow tiring. Water stations are on each floor of the hotel as well as one by the kids club. Bring a cup!!! All the cups by pool are reusable plastic, had some concerns about how well they were cleaned. Bar staff will rinse your travel cup and give plenty of ice.

    Romantic Getaway 💕

    Nice Romantic Getaway The weather was nice! Food and drinks were definitely enjoyable. Rooms are always clean. There were many excursions to go and the Airport was only 15 minutes away. All the staff, including the housekeepers and the front desk shows great hospitality.
