Great staff and very neglecting owners. Please don't let this place die.
Just like everyone else has been saying – this place survives only because of its employees. The building is old and desperately needs renovations. One elevator has been broken for years, and the other one was failing when we stayed on April 30th, 2025. That was our checkout day, and we had to drag our luggage down five floors. The Wi-Fi didn’t work a single day. The front desk kept making up excuses and promising it would be fixed “tomorrow.” From other reviews, it seems it’s been down for weeks. Every time we come here, the food gets worse and worse, and the selection gets smaller and smaller. The bedding, pillows, and towels are all old. Come on, guys—invest some money in this place. It’s DYING! Save The Parnassus!!!

Older hotel with the best staff ever!
The employees what makes this place like home! The Breeze is a buffet and they have different stations to make pancake, French toast, omelets. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal. etc. Noon they have hamburgers, nachos, French fries, guacamole, All the fixes for your hamburger. Peir 12 has spaghetti, coconut shrimp, salmon, salads etc. The old barn has shrimp, steaks, salads etc. We didn't go into the Sumo which is Japanese food. Shangri-la we did not try, which they have Quail. In all we didn't have to what for a variety of food.

Friendly and entertaining staff
Hotel wouldn’t be as amazing if it weren’t for the staff who were so fun and friendly, attentive and made sure you were never without a drink in your hand. Amazing service especially from Oscar, Marcos & Jose- thank you guys so much we’ve had an amazing time <3

Friendliest staff
The staff are all lovely and made you feel like family. The service was amazing and the rooms and whole hotel was clean at all times. The food was aLao amazing! Definitely money well spent. Oscar, Jose and Marcos were all equally lovely and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Overall an amazing experience, thank you all!!!

Renovate or die, staff save the hotel Views save the hotel
The hotel staff is excellent more than wonderful friendly attentive to nationals and tourists. They always attend to you in a good mood. That saves a lot the fact that the hotel lacks renovation does not have Wi-Fi, its furniture is from the 80s, the pillows are nefarious old Smell damp, the bed is hard furniture from the restaurant juice almost falls, so old it lacks modernization, there was no light in the floor where I was, which was the fifth never composed the focus of my hallway of my room. I never had light in the hallway, only a connector worked, even though I'm a national and I didn't watch TV at night I put it on just for before bed. The programming all in English and I am national, there was nothing in Spanish, the railing overlooking the beach of my window was loose and I on the fifth floor recharged, but I was afraidsince I could get away. Everything makes up for it with the ocean view, and with the wonderful staff and good buffet of everything, including. That's why I give it three stars out of five for the antique furniture, the burn and the nefarious pillows, the old kitchen utensils, the furniture of the old restaurants, that's not the fault of the employees but of the hotel board
