Fiesta Americana a star place to stay in Cozumel.
Fiesta Americana Cozumel - was a wonderful experience. This trip and future ones we really enjoyed having everything we needed right at hand. Their facility is comfortable, spacious room, dining options were nice, onsite pier, beachside chairs and cabanas. It was both a great scuba diving week and a restful, relaxing week. We had wonderful staff take care of our needs with out hesitation. Getting checked in Brenda was helpful making sure we could get a dinner reservation for that night in one of the dining options. We had great check-in service (except our room was not yet ready when we arrived, we were able to go have lunch and enjoy a great view for a couple of hours). They meet you with a welcome drink and a cool towel to refresh after traveling. All the staff were very service oriented and a pleasure to be around. Greeting you with a friendly "hello" wherever you went. We appreciated the friendly smile and service of Alexandria (hostess) in the main buffet dining hall (breakfast & lunch). She greeted us each meal with a smile and warm welcome, thank you Alexandria, you started our day wonderfully. We also want to give a shout out to Antonio in the food services (beach side dining options).....he was on spot. Always checking to see if our meals were good, what would we like to see, etc. He was a pleasure and so attentive. We also have a shout out to Christopher, in the main lobby bar. He was awesome. Very friendly and always staying up on our drinks being fresh and ready when we were. We appreciated the friendly staff. Sometimes the pool entertainment could be a little annoying, but I get that everyone has a reason for vacation -- we enjoyed the pool time even thru the games and contests. We didn't really take advantage of the evening shows, but could hear them slightly in our rooms. They were usually shut down by 10 pm. While FA is a travel vacation club site, I am grateful that their was no "hard sale" to join. They made us aware and then left us to determine if we wanted more information. It was a wonderful trip, good food, and very nice accommodations & staff. A great place for scuba divers, families with all age children, or couples looking to reconnect. We didn't want for anything. Thank you.

Family Trip
This was our first trip to Fiesta Americana and second time to Cozumel. We arrived an hour early and were greeted with cool towels and green juice. This was a pleasant surprise and my kids thought it was the greatest thing. Eduardo promptly took our luggage and escorted us to the check in desk. We were able to check in early, get to our rooms with our luggage brought up by Eduardo, and down to the pool all before 3:00 pm!! The whole check in process was super smooth, which included going over the app and all the things the resort had to offer, including how to reserve the restaurants for each night. Our rooms (we had two) were fully stocked with Dos XX, soda, water bottles, sparkling water, snacks, etc. We were located on the 4th floor and had a great view of the resort and the water. Our A/C worked amazing and also had a ceiling fan, which was a huge bonus for us! The room was cleaned and stocked daily with plenty of towels and water. We ate at Rosado twice, which was AMAZING!!! Our whole family loved everything we had both times. It was probably the best food we have ever had at an all inclusive. We also at at El Mexicano once. The food there was pretty good, with the guac being the highlight for us! The other night we had the Carnival show and buffet. It was probably our least favorite meal, but it was still pretty good. We did order room service that night as well, which was really good. We had the breakfast buffet every day which had a good variety, including an omelet station, taquito area, and quesadilla station. That was a huge bonus for us! We also really enjoyed the snack bar every day by the pool. Our favorite was the steak quesadilla with guac and pico. Other things we had were the nachos, burrito, chicken quesadilla, and burger. All of this was very good!! Miguel was amazing by the pool and super nice. Our boys also enjoyed the coffee bar/ice cream shop along with the pastries that were offered. The drinks were pretty good and consistent with other all inclusive resorts we have been to. Some were pretty watered down, while others were very good. We would just ask for an extra shot if needed to add to our drinks. Christopher was training, but you would never know it! He took great care of us every night!! The one thing that was disappointing is that the bars did not open until 11:00 am. We enjoy having mimosas with breakfast while on vacation, which we were not able to do. This would not prevent us from coming back, but really a downfall for us. If they would at least serve mimosas and bloody mary's at breakfast, this place would be amazing!! Our boys also snorkeled for the first time right at the beach club which was a huge bonus. It was so nice to not have to leave the property and still be able to have that experience for the first time. They were able to take many videos of the fish and sea life they saw right off shore. Overall, we had a great trip!! We look forward to a return trip to Cozumel!!

Fiesta Americana Loved It!
This was our third trip to this resort and first staying on the Fiesta Americana side. We arrive hour early and were greeted with cool cloths and green juice which was wonderful after a long travel day. Luis C. greeted us and reviewed the resort information, he is super nice and helpful with app! We remembered him from our prior Explorean stays. We arrived to our 5th floor room and it was wonderful, the view was spectacular and room layout really nice. Eduardo was cheerful and speedy in bringing our carryon luggage up. The room was kept clean every day by two gals who were always smiling and friendly to us. They honored our requests for waters, diet coke and sparkling water everyday. The room layout was just beautiful and minifridge stocked with cold beverages and treats, included. The week was wonderful! We enjoyed the obvious facility updates and vested improvements on the pools and at the beachfront. We had breakfast and many lunches at Vine del Mar where Alejandra was hostess with her beautiful smile and friendly greeting everyday. We looked forward to seeing her each day. She is a true treasure, very fluent in English and made our meals just enjoyable! This was our third year seeing her and were so happy she was still working for Fiesta !!! Her friendliness and welcoming nature is remembered long after the meal is done. Service is tip top and food was excellent. We enjoyed our meals at La Cevicheria with Glendy serving and excellent pico/guac and chips plus incredible fish tacos, calamare rings and wonderful drinks! The view from this restaurant is amazing!!! We watched a lifeguard rescue drill one day that really was impressive. I really enjoyed watching the cruise ships down the beach come in and out while relaxing at this restaurant. We tried The Grill for a burger dinner one night and the man behind the counter was cheerfully whistling while making the order, the burgers were incredible by the way! We enjoyed dinners at El Mexicano, the Peninsula and Rosado all very nice and excellent service and diverse selections. We greatly enjoyed the pool and loungers everyday and people watching. This is a relaxed resort and no crazy uncomfortable things to endure, families were attentive to their children and staff were just always working to keep the facilities clean, bathrooms tip top, spotless!! I enjoyed many Americano coffees during my stay and the goodies were always tempting so pretty and delicious. You will not go hungry or thirsty at this resort. Night time events were nice not over the top but fun to watch. We are early to bed type and the resort was quiet by 10:30pm and sleeping was quiet and peaceful. Again the staff were always quick to help, kind, hardworking and really just amazing. Checkout was easy and quick and amazing strong Eduardo again gathered our bags and brought them to the bell hop area before we could even look for help with them! He was also at the Explorean and is a true gem of this resort! I asked the bell man the expected cost of ride directly to the airport and was informed it was typically 20 to 22 dollars. We travel light with only carryons. The taxi driver we had had no running meter and charged 25.00. I want to remind guests to always ask the taxi driver first how much before accepting the ride. Not a huge deal but again ask before accepting the ride. We for sure were off Fiesta grounds and the back in the real world again. We are planning our 4th return to Fiesta next year. It is an amazing resort and we absolutely love it and the employees who treat you like family.

Just right for our family
Not a large all-inclusive, but just right for us. The room was large with a balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was a couple of miles south of town. The resort was on the east side of the main road. Breakfast and lunch were served on the west side of the road - on the ocean. Traffic was sparse, so crossing the road was never a problem. Our family - three adults. The shore is rocky. Steps lead into the water. Our daughter was able to snorkel right off shore.
