  Fun with family and friends

  Eladio was very attentive and fun. He answered all of our questions about the buffet. Greeted us with so much kindness. Remember us and made us feel special. Alex and David at the pool area were so nice and fun. Helped us with getting volleyball to play in the pool

  Amazing staff, resort needs some improvements

  Resort definitely needs some improvements but the staff are INCREDIBLE! But this review is really about the amazing staff that the resort has employed. Special shout out to Melissa and Mar at the kids club for providing so many fun activities for the kids! Can’t thank them enough. All of the waiters, pool servers (especially Alexis and JJ), landscapers, concierge, bartenders, housekeeping go above and beyond - they are all incredible. The resort itself needs some improvements. We booked a family suite with a hot tub right on the water and it’s a bit outdated, but the view is absolutely stunning nonetheless. Can’t recommend the staff enough - so so amazing.

  FA Condessa is worth trying

  Following up on the no AC comment, the hotel does have a huge buffet dining room plus three other restaurants that are fully enclosed and air conditioned— the Italian restsurant, the steakhouse and the Mexican restsurant. The spa and gym are also air conditioned as are many small office areas and two shops. The main lobby and reception area of this hotel are constructed under a huge towering palapa, with no outside walls but with covering from the elements. It’s a beautiful place with tropical foliage and gardens everywhere. The pool area is meandering and on two levels. The upper level is quiter, the lower levels have a large area around a pool bar where there is definitely a good vibe with music, djs, activity directors etc. there is also a unique childrens area and another quiter zone on the lower level. It is a very well maintained hotel , the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The beach area outside the hotel is nice as well. A good place for couples, families and multi-generational vacationing. Breakfasts are great. The other food varies from ok to good to better than good, depending on what you choose or upgrade (more $). Been here three times.

  Perfect.. healing and full of beautiful multicultural people

  We returned again to this exquisite home away from home xx.. the linens and the pillows encouraged must needed rest from The winter in Minnesota .. the ocean was beautiful and warm and cleansing from the stresses of the north .. Esaud and Abel and Lorena always keep us safe in the inviting ocean .. the staff on the beach .. Eligio and Javier refresh our drinks as often as necessary with pins coladas and ice water as well as margaritas.. and then the breakfast and omelets and coffee .. served by Karena .. and Marco in the Asian themed restaurant.. Daniel seng from the Yucatán created a gorgeous spread of yellow curry .. and appetizers that melted in your mouth… the steak house was Luscious and it was sweet. To see Alfredo and Jonathan still lovingly caring for us .., the Mexican restaurant has this watermelon salad that is a must .. valdimer is still caring for customers.. this fiesta maintains staff over a long period of time !! The ceviche bar on the beach has the best fish tacos and playful and funny staff .. keeping you safe from too much tequila .., then of course ..,the spa ..Luiz and noi took amazing care of our muscles in fabulous massage on the beach ., and then the jefe ?? The gracious David Miranda … calming voice .. sweet heart and stunning humor ..positively reframing any fears .. of any ideas with pragmatic hope .. he is a great leader and teacher .. we miss you all already as we arrive home to a -28 windchill ,.Miigwetch ..   Fun family get away but no inside A/C made it uncomfortable every evening

  6 of us went on this trip. 2 of us in our 50's and our kids in their 20s. This hotel was very pretty but it is extremely warm and crowded everywhere inside. There are not different areas to hang out at in the evening. It is all kind of combined in one area - the lobby, sports bar, and entertainment all occur in one area making it very crowded & hot. You would really have to go to your room to cool off. The pool area is beautiful. The water is heated. If you are looking for more daytime entertainment though this would not be the place for you. It was fine for us as we just wanted to be mellow most of the time. The food at all the restaurants was very good. The staff was great! We would not go back due to the inside layout and no air conditioning.
