Nov 21, 2024A superior hotel
This is clearly a superior hotel. Rooms are impeccable and include all one would expect in an upper-tier Marriott hotel. Service is excellent. The breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of delicious options and, also, a friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is located next to the main train station and, consequently, only a short train ride from the Malpensa Airport and just over three hours to Rome by fast trains.

Absolutely terrible charged rather than pre authorised our card, rude and arrogant staff at check in, doorman yelled at us to use another door on departure one day, huge tour group meant breakfast was not available and 45 euros for 2 spritz in the bar

The housekeeping service is slow and understaffed. After leaving at 8:30 AM and pushing the button labeled “make up room”, I came back at 1 PM and my room was untouched. I telephoned Housekeeping they assured me someone would be right up. Two hours later, the room still wasn’t done. For a five star luxury hotel this is not acceptable.

Superb Location, Highest Quality, Excellent Service
The PERFECT location if you will travel to and from Milan by train; easily walk directly across the street from the main entrance of the station. And, this place is of the highest quality; exceptional public spaces, rooms, bedding, showers, amenities. High levels of service and very comfortable and attractive environment. It's not on the budget motel circuit, of course; you get what you're paying for and if you can afford to stay at a high-end place I would highly recommend Excelsior Hotel Gallia. One of the most satisfying hotel stays anywhere in the world that I've traveled to.

Majestic, luxurious and comfortable, helpful
Majestic, luxurious and comfortable, helpful are the 4 key adjectives I could experience from my stay. The best hardware and software! 3. Fitness: 24 hours, 365 days Indoor Pool and Spa (09:00 - 20:30) It is really impressive! Especially, the relax zone with the heated relax chair is helpful for healing & relaxation. Please bring the Swimming Suite and never miss this Indoor Pool and Spa. [Hardware] Its original building was a majestic art deco-era landmark, too beautiful at any time of the day. It is located in the perfect location for fashion, design, gastronomy and transportation right next to Main Train Station. The bus for tax free outlet also departs near-by and there are free shuttle from hotel to Duomo. The estimated taxi fare from the Malpensa Airport is 95 EUR (one way) and it takes around 50 minutes. Cigar bar seems to be useful for the smokers. If I suggest one improvment: I can't turn on the shower faucet because it's slippery, when I try to take a shower again after turning off the water to apply shower gel. Onlu except for that, it has perfect hardware! [Software] Staffs are very very professional and friendly! The staffs from concierge are super attentive when I need a help. I thank for their real hospitality and top notch service! I really enjoyed my stays here.
