Mar 11, 2025Housekeeping goes through your items
The stay itself was decent. The room was clean and the staff polite. The restrooms for the public needed a little extra attention. The one thing I was upset about was the housekeeping. They were polite when we spoke to them, but I am unsure of their ethics. There were items out of bags and moved from where I placed them. It would have made logical sense if they had needed to be moved for cleaning, but that did not appear to be the case. They were gone through. I did not like that. Additionally, a few of my food items (such as chocolate covered pretzels - *so, not perishables*) were missing. That was the one that bothered me the most, it was near $11 from the store downtown, and I had only eaten a few of them, so it did not appear anywhere near empty. I just wish that they would have been more appropriate, considerate, and respectful with my belongings. This is not enough to stop me from going again, but it is enough to make me question based on what I am bringing with me.

For a moderately priced resort, we had. great experience at Excalibur. The room in the Resort Tower was spacious with incredibly comfortable beds. The room was clean and the amenities were acceptable. Having other nearby within walking distance was also a benefit.

Good value
Convenient location, affordable, not the "newest" or fanciest hotel/casino but does have easy access to trams (to other casinos) and has a large amount of affordable eating options. (I've stayed here at least 9x across 10 visits to Vegas)

Windows allow lots of noise in. Room is dated, but functional. Decent value when the rates are cheaper. Online checkin was easy and getting keys was simple and let me skip the long line. Late checkout fee is pricey considering room cost per night.

Nothing special, but the price was right
The room was average, nothing special, but the price was right. We brought our own portable kettle for coffee, but forgot styrofoam cups. No frig in the room. Couldn’t turn the air conditioner to run only as needed so was hard to sleep with the noisy air conditioner running constantly. I believe there was construction going on in the room next to us during the night, and then in the morning stopped. We were going to complain upon check out but were running late for our taxi so didn’t get the chance. I did so on the survey that was sent to us.
