Perfect
We stayed at El Greco for 9 nights. Perfect location, stunning views and a fantastic resort, the place is kept spotless its very spread out so you don’t feel cramped by people. Breakfast was great and even better as several little cats live on the resort they turn up at breakfast in hope of a share of the buffet, obviously we obliged. The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially a young man who worked at the lower level breakfast area and also in the restaurant/bar in the evening he was so polite and kind he set us an outside table each morning, he is an asset to El Greco for sure. We loved our stay at this calm beautiful resort so much. I can’t recommend staying here enough.

Brilliant hotel
We were impressed with this hotel we were on the 4th level 029 which was a lovely room situated in a quite part of the hotel and right near the breakfast bar we had to ask to swop rooms to ground level after a couple of days as my partner was struggling with the steps due to a knee injury the hotel accommodated us with this. The hotel is kept spotless room keeping we’re very good clean towels everyday the food is a bit pricey along with the drinks but they were lovely meals and drinks Julie and the young guy whose name can’t remember were lovely they work in the bar and could not do enough for us. The hotel is in a great location only a ten minute walk into Fira where there is endless beauty and plenty of choice for shops food and drink even a macdonalds which pleased my fussy daughter. I will definitely be back. Thanks f you love cats buy some treats lol

Highly Recommend
Really enjoyed our stay here. No complaints. Rooms were nice with front porches and patio tables. Hotel was easily walkable to the main part of town. Beautiful sunsets out front in the evening. Bed was a little too firm. Try the mango margarita. It will knock your socks off.

Loved Santorini
El Greco clean and tidy and nice location as only 10 minutes walk into Fira.Pharmacy and supermarket close by and fairly priced.Hotel quiet at this time of year but it appears that cruise ships use it for their passengers to stop and explore for a couple of days and then breakfast can be rather busy.Breakfast pretty average but food from restaurants generally good.Storage in rooms limited but the location makes this place a good stop.Be prepared to walk and walk as Fira and Oia have many hills and lots of steps so you really need to be good on your feet.We did the five hour boat trip with Greek salad and wine with various stops for swimming and totally enjoyed it although the volcanic hot springs a little disappointing.105 euro's each which initially I thought expensive but we had such a good time but this was helped by the others on the boat from Canada and Brazil.I could imagine it being a nightmare if you had someone on their being a pain!Local bus to Oia was easy and we shared a sea taxi back to Fira 25 euros each after we had descended down the vast amount of steps to the small port.Shops were great in both Fira and Oia and some great sites. On the whole a great holiday and experience ,nice hotel but be prepared to spend some money, walk some miles and it does get busy when the cruise ships are in although not overwhelming and apparently better than the summer months.

A very special place…
I came out here in April this year and returned in October. Having been lucky enough to travel a lot of the world, I have to say that this hotel is up there with the best (better than even the 5* hotel in Dubai) in my POV. A very central hotel to see all of the island with the bus terminal only a 10 minute walk away. Airport about 15 minutes. The room was spotless, had everything I needed. Amenities were spot on but most importantly, the staff were all amazing, they couldn’t have been more friendlier and helpful. As a solo traveller, I was made feel welcome and safe, almost a home from home. A huge thank you to the cleaners, the waiters and especially to the bar staff and Eri who made my trips brighter. I leave today and when I get back I will rebook for next year for sure.
