    Great overall experience

    We had a great time at El Dorado. The grounds were lovely and clean, pools spotless and the vast majority of staff were brilliant. Special mention to Adriana, one of the best yoga teachers we have found in a long time. Entertainment was very good. Who can forget Sexy Lewis. What an intelligent funny young man. The vast majority of the food was excellent. The only one to avoid is The Pub restaurant. The portion size was ridiculously small. We had beef rib which was four mouth fulls. It came with one potato wedge and two green beans. A lot of guests we spoke to felt similar and quality was poor. We stayed in the premium section and not sure it's worth the money. Especially when there are about 40 sun beds to about 110 premium suites. And, with the towel warriors out at 0630 you have a slim chance of being in the premium section. In fact a big gripe is that so many beds were taken by people that never turned up all day and this was never dealt with by the team. We had a number of massages which again were exceptional although haven't paid for them yet!!!!! Special mention to Walter and Miriam our therapists. Lastly I would say that some reviews say the hotel is a little tired and yes it is in places but, when you consider what you are paying compared to other simarly starred hotels, and the main quality and variety of food and entertainment, you really can't go wrong.

    Can’t wait to come back!!!

    We stayed 8 days and I am so sad to leave!! So many great experiences here. The people are so friendly and wonderful. Benjamin at the pool with his daily questions had us laughing every morning! Love him and can’t wait to see him again. Maria our beach server was so sweet and attentive. Took a cocktail class with Jesus was so much fun!!! Ricardo at driftwood was our favorite server! Don’t hesitate to book your trip here. We will be coming back next year for sure!!! Don’t listen to the good complaints the food is good and the atmosphere is better!!!

    Unmatched 🎉

    We came a week and had a lot of fun, the foam party was the most fun, as the Animation guys had a lot of fun dancing, Maria made us laugh a lot Fernanda and Carlos Super friendly with the activities, inviting us to go to the evening shows and the staff service, in general, all always very attentive, friendly and smiling.The waiters always very attentive in the restaurants, bringing you what we asked for fast, the food is very rich, the beach is beautiful, we saw many fish and even a barracuda, we also saw raccoons walking through the hotel. We hope to return next year

    Vacaciones

    Muy bonito hotel, mis amigos me habían recomendado y definitivamente pensamos en volver; los pasillos del hotel están muy bien cuidados además de que las jardineras se ven hermosas con muchas plantas tropicales y las orquídeas que tienen se ven espectaculares. La playa es de las más bonitas que visto con agua cristalina, vimos varios peces y los chicos que limpian el sargazo se esfuerza bastante por dejarla bien limpia. La comida está bien para ser un hotel todo incluido aunque puede mejorar. Los shows y actividades: el show mexicano fue nuestro favorito, se sintió tan bonito escuchar al mariachi y ver a los bailarines, en verdad un show precioso; las actividades estuvieron muy divertidas, María siempre nos invitaba a unirnos e hicimos varias actividades como el bingo, manualidades y pintado de cocos, Fernanda y Carlos de animación también fueron muy divertidos y aprendimos a jugar volleyball y table tenis gracias a ellos. Esperamos regresar pronto

    Much needed entertainment!

    We had a fabulous time, Benjamin from activities was thoroughly entertaining and kept us in the groove. This is our second time with eldorado Resorts, and it's always a blast. From food, accommodations, and entertainment. You can't go wrong.
