We stayed for 2 weeks & had an excellent experience. Staff was so accommodating & friendly. Rooms are clean & spacious. Great location would absolutely stay here again. For all the information we received before leaving Canada saying concerns about not being safe. 100% not true. We toured lots all over & walked the Marcelino at night & a group of 4 women had no concerns what so ever. Don’t miss the awesome experience in Mazatlan. We will be coming back

We love having the Elite Club! It’s a one stop place for everything! Verenice goes out of her way to help in so many ways. She is happy, pleasant and a great fit for her job! Daniella steps in quickly when Verenice can’t and also such a help! All the staff are really very wonderful people! They make our stay go so much better! Thank you!!

Great resort for families!
The connecting rooms are super convenient, especially if you have children. We have 4 and they were able to sleep in the double beds while my wife and I slept in the connecting room on the Murphy bed. The variety of food from the restaurants is wonderful and the nightly entertainment shows are interactive, funny and loaded with lots of talented musicians, dancers and comedians!

Relaxing Fall Vacation
We loved the stay in Mazatlan at the El Moro again this fall! The staff were fantastic, the food was all fabulous, the weather was great, and there were very few guest at the resort this time of year!! So enjoyable to see some of the same staff at our favorite restaurants! Special Thank You to Tomas on the beach. The quiet pool bar staff were great, Cristian made great cocktails, served by Erik, Daniel, and Genaro! Love these guys! Sergio and Daniel were so nice in La Concha! Hope to be back soon!

Can' go wrong staying at the El Cid/El Moro Resort in Mazatlan Mexico
My husband and I love staying at the El Cid/El Moro Resort in Mazatlan Mexico. We were there for 3 weeks in November 2024 celebrating our birthdays with family and friends. Upon arrival we were greeted with warmth, huge smiles and a cool refreshing drink. The accommodations are spacious, the food delicious, the live shows entertaining, Mariachi's outstanding and the employees the best. The Management Team and Employees who demonstrated exceptional customer service and deserve to be recognized are Luis Acosta, Claudia Juarez, Guillermo Espinosa, Armando Simon, Verenese Lopez, Daniela Mendez, Abraham Rendon, Alejandra Martinez, Juan Parente, America Leyva; the waiters at La Concha, Pool and Beach: Danny, Luis, Martin, Jorge, Tomas, Daniel and we can't forget our favorite Bartenders: Martin and Manuel. We can't wait to return for the sun, wonderful atmosphere and most importantly the employees that made our 3 week stay fabulous. You won't go wrong staying at the El Cid/El Moro Resort in Mazatlan.
