We have just finished our 6th stay at Dreams Macao Beach and it was fantastic. This resort continues to improve with great staff and that keeps us returning. We stayed in a preferred junior swim-up suite. It was a central location to everything from the beach, main pool, adult preferred pool, and restaurants. We enjoyed room service every morning on our patio - it arrived quickly and hot. Spent most of our time at the lazy river and adult only preferred pool. We have also recommended this resort to our friends which resulted in 8 couples choosing to book this resort in the last year. As usual the staff was great - call outs to Eddy and the team from the Bell Service, Franscisco, our butler, Moises from the adult only preferred pool, Johnny Bravo from the entertainment team, and Alexandra from the Japanese Restaurant, and so many other as well. We are already looking to book again for Dec 2025 / Jan 2026. Book this resort you won’t be disappointed.

Kids club
We had an amazing time especially the kids club with Rebecca, Samantha, Alex, Frida, Karla, Alexa, Itzel: we love the activities and the kids enjoyed all of them including Spanish lessons; and sandcastle fun! They always were professional!

Beautiful place and location!
The staff is excellent here! Entertainment staff was very friendly and fun! Shows were great and they got the audience involved. Food was average and could be better. Not many options for salad dressing and some food didn’t come back with what was stated on menu.

Jan 27, 2025THIS IS A FAMILY RESORT
Let me point out that this is a family resort, there are LOTS of children, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, go to Secrets next door. First, what was good. Beautiful resort, very clean. We were in the new Preferred sec'n. Only down fall with this sec'n, it is VERY far from the rest of the resort, and unless you are prepared for a long walk, you will need to take a shuttle, which runs constantly. Check-in gave us our first bad impression. We were dropped at the wrong lobby by our transfer bus and had to shuttle to the proper lobby. There, we stood waiting for somebody to greet us. When somebody finally did, he directed us to a sofa, given a clipboard, and told to fill it in. Did that and patiently waited until about 15 min later, stressed out and annoyed, we got up and confronted the guy who sat us down. I'm sure he could tell we were pissed. He led us to a desk and completed our check-in. We met our butler/concierge in our room shortly after. He quickly addressed a couple of issues with the room, one being a non functioning air conditioner. Roberto was fantastic. After a very bad experience we had at the Fusion restaurant, he arranged for us to go back and try it again. It was like we were at a totally different restaurant. After that, he insisted on making reservations for us even though reservations are not mostly required. Beach was amazing, as most beaches in Punta Cana are, and the shuttle will take you directly to the beach when you ask the driver to, otherwise, you will be dropped at the larger lobby and still face a long walk. Wait service at the beach was also fantastic. However, I can only speak for the preferred beach area. Some things management needs to address... For some reason, this resorts ala carte restaurants seem to need to get patrons in and out as soon and as fast as possible. For example, the Mexican food restaurant will have you seated, appetizers and mains and desert served and be out within about 35 min. They need to learn that eating at an ala carte is a gastronomic experience and needs to be savored. Most of the Ala carte restaurants at this resort think this way, get you in and out fast. Evening entertainment at this resort was typical, but ok. If you've seen the circus show at one resort it's the same at the next. My only complaint was starting at 9pm. Families with infant screaming children only wanting to go to bed. Start it at 8pm. I should also point out, not to anybody's fault but our own, this is a family resort, and booking a room in the Preferred sec'n will not get you away from the kids. Next time, we will go to Secrets, the sister adults only resort, as we are also members of Hyatts Unlimited Vacation Club.

Fabulous Vacation
This resort is absolutely beautiful. We upgraded to preferred and it was definitely worth it. Our butler was Jose. He was very attentive and and around checking on us constantly. The food was great and the presentation in the specialty restaurants were excellent. Our suite in the new preferred section was very large and spacious with 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom. The Queen show was outstanding. There was nothing about this resort that wasn't fabulous. The staff was nice and helpful. We will definitely book this resort again!
