Mar 20, 2025Its ok..Could have been better
The hotel is a little dated and it needs a redo. My room at arrival was clean but smelt like mildew. The phone in room doesn't work to call front desk or housekeeping. The food at buffet was good but it wasn't hot enough. The specialty restaurants were awful. The drinks at the bar were good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall stay was ok..just wished they had remodeled the hotel and had beach lounge chairs on the beach (sand area).

Mar 19, 2025Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Went for a girls trip and we had a great time! We spent the days at the pool and the evenings with fun activities (karaoke, BINGO, movies, etc.). The entertainment staff was amazing - Alfonso, Gabino, and Eliseo! The food isn’t anything to brag about but also what we were expecting.

I love this resort, is small, but very pleasant, is a family resort but is not loud or annoying, the preferred area (pool and bar) has the best team to take care of you, Abigail, Denis and Eric are the best. UVC team were fabulous! Entertainment team were awesome on the pool routine, beds are comfortable, Portofino restaurant was very good (the only one we tried) all the staff were very polite, attentive, professional, we have a really good time, and the sloths! You must go to this resort, is not fancy but you will have a really good and relaxing time.

Great team wonderful staff unfortunately, they have not much to work with
So let me preface this by saying this team was the best and they tried their hardest to do the best with what they had. Dreams needs to pay attention to what’s going on in Panama. It is not the experience that we are normally used to especially being in the preferred club. My advice is for upper management to go visit. Spend some time there and see if you are having the dreams experience, and if you can say that you are then kudos to you, but if you read these reviews, and I’m sure that someone is, then you will understand that people are extremely disappointed in the Panama experience with dreams and for someone who has stayed in the Dominican Republic and in Mexico, and a few other places with dreams Now known under the Hyatt umbrella, this is just sad and unfortunate so I hope your marketing team and your management team spends at least five days there because while we were there, we knew at least 10 people that got sick including my husband and that might not be a good thing.

Great Resort overall - beyond expectations based on negative reviews.
First, do not make up your mind up on this resort based Negative reviews, as they are just people with nothing better to do. Great experience with family, daytime activities were great, entertain team exceptional. Restaurants were very good, with Seafood and French being the best. Service and people go beyond and a shout out to the staff....the entire entertainment team and Kathleen. Room was nice, cleaning staff was there everyday to clean and restock fridge without exception and plenty of hot water for 4 people. Noted, exception was the beach, but great to walk and nighttime entertainment.
