Just recently returned from this hotel, great location, very clean, really friendly staff, plenty of choice for breakfast but we upgraded to "Preferred Club" room average not what I would expected for a "room with a sea view" nice little extra's room bar topped up everyday, "Preferred Club" snack lounge with free sandwich's, fruit, pastries, soft drinks etc, "Preferred Club" swimming pools & sun beds, But for the price we paid didn't give me the WOW factor. I have stayed in better hotels for a lot less money !!! 4 Star ? would I stay here again ? not sure ! definitely not for the price we paid

Dreams Hotel at Playa Blanca had a $24 million renovation in 2021 and I have to ask why the heck didn’t they replace the beds. We had a ground room with a double bed and what was like a child’s bed. Omg this was the most uncomfortable hotel bed ever. Our beds at the Dreams gave us nightmares ! Don't waste your time “choosing” a room when booking direct. We choose a twin upper floor preferred club room with front see view, away from the pool noise. Initially we got offered a double bedded room which we refused and then after ages of searching, they allocated us a ground floor triple room looking over the pool! Now the positives. We loved our first visit to Playa Bianca. The staff at the Dreams were very efficient and mostly friendly. The public areas were lovely and well kept. Plenty of nice seating inside and outside. We booked the preferred club which is honestly good value. There is a different breakfast room ( for preferred club only) if you choose to use it but we found the other breakfast restaurant was quieter first thing. By 8am both were heaving. The location is perfect right on the seafront. Short walk to the fantastic Marina Rubicon where there’s great restaurants. Turning right out the back of the hotel is a lovely promenade walk to restaurants and eventually the harbour area. Would love to return to this hotel but the very hard and extremely uncomfortable beds will put us off rebooking in the future, which is a shame.

Fantastic hotel in brilliant location right on the promenade. Plenty of pools...one with a swim up bar. Minutes from the marina which has great bars and restaurants. Loved the hotel and Play Blanca and booked for same hotel in June 😊😊😊😊😊

Fabulous hotel
Hotel was fabulous, we had a preferred club room on the ground floor overlooking the sugar reef adult only pool. The amenities are great, it’s really worth upgrading to a preferred club room for access to the adult and infinity pools and the snacks room which is well stocked all day. Would highly recommend.

A Dream holiday in a Dream Hotel
Hotel lived up to our expectations, clean modern, excellent food and friendly staff. It was like coming home as we had stayed previously when it was called Hyspedia Playa Dorada. There were subtle changes in the hotel decor and layout but certainly worth its star rating. Would have no hesitation in booking another relaxing stay in the hotel
