Overall good resort other than illness
My husband and I travelled with his parents (age 70). The size of this resort is on the small side which worked well as our one traveller has some mobility issues. We stayed in Building 64 and our rooms were nice and very clean. As the evening entertainment was just outside our room it was on the noisy side until about 10:30 pm or 10:45 pm each night. Housekeeping consistently cleaned our room each day and mini fridge was stocked daily. All of the workers at the resort are friendly and work hard. The ocean and beach is absolutely amazing. The food quality was fine and we mainly ordered room service for breakfast (service was a bit hit and miss) and then a la carte at night. We really enjoyed the Italian and Asian restaurant. The biggest reason I could not rate this resort higher is 3 of the 4 of us got very ill with stomach issues. We heard many other travellers saying the same thing so not sure if there was a flu bug going around or issues with the food, but we ended up spending 2 days in our room due to illness which put a damper on our trip. If it hadn’t been for this I would have rated it 4 or even 5. Also, I had seen some reviews saying they allowed people in on day passes. We were at the resort for 8 days and did not see anything like this at all.

Dreams was Fantastic
Dany was the best Butler very attentive. Food was fantastic, but don't buy into the steak and lobster separate dinner - not that good. Their food at each restaurant was fabulous. Buy up to the preferred area and have lunch cooked fresh for you every day.

Beautiful beach family resort.
As a couple without young children, this resort exceeded our expectations for a Dreams. The beach is amazingly beautiful. The resort is very nice with a good outdoor theater and entertainment. Food at the ala carte restaurants was very good. Our butler, Erick was amazing and provided anything we needed not to mention he was very friendly, personable, and has very good English. It is a smaller quaint resort that has a perfect area for young kids. We would definitely recommend this resort for families with toddlers and couples.

Few tweeks and it could be great
We're here now! Obviously, this our own personal experience. Due to the layout of the resort, most of the rooms have little or no view (unless you pay for sea view) our room (block 63) right by evening entertainment site, is quite noisy as they store all their equipment for the shows here. So lots of clattering and banging before and after each show. Plus staff cupboards etc beneath us, which staff are using in the early hours of the morning and they're not very quiet about it. Room is quite basic and in need of refurbishment . Clothes smell once they've been in the wardrobe and drawers, lighting poor too! Beds are just about ok. We didnt have the basic room, but paid for preferred club tropical view but don't think that makes a difference to the rooms, just the amenities. Buffet restaurant is a bit hit and miss temperature of the foodcan be an issue, toaster not working and actual butter not available. The other restaurants are good (no need to book) men need long trousers for French restaurant only. Myself and others have been ill, but don't think it's the food due to timing, more likely to be a sickness and diarrhea bug going around. Pools are nice and this hotel does have the best beach on this stretch. Top shelf drinks available at all the bars. Entertainment team work hard, always something to do if you're that way inclined. From spin classes in the pool to water aerobics in the sea and/or pool, dancing, zumba the list goes on. Do get hassled a bit for spa treatments though. Worst thing is sun beds are awful, the most uncomfortable I've come across and being a beach holiday, you spend a lot of time on them! If they could change a few things, this resort would be great
