Beautiful Resort!
Enjoyed an excellent vacation at the Dreams in La Romana DR. The hotel is beautiful, nice well appointed rooms with great service from the front desk to the restaurants. Food quality is excellent throughout the resort and we tried each one of the specialty restaurants and the buffet. The small grill near the beach also serves some great pizza and hot dogs. Beach is a bit small but sand and water were awesome. Pools are also nice and there was lots of entertainment throughout the day and the early evenings. We used the gym regularly, which for a hotel is quite good. We took one boat excursion to Saona island during the week, which although fun (and Saona is beautiful) was way too packed with people. If I could do this again I would have done a private tour to cut down on the time (as it was a bit long long). The food on this tour was a bit iffy as well. If you can get a deal, upgrade to the preferred club as you get a good palapa on the beach with better selection of drinks and beers. All in all, a really nice week and a great resort!

Worest property @ Dreams Dominicus La Romana.
Me and my wife went to Dreams resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic. The entertainment and food were both huge disappointments. I was traveling with my wife & 2 girls when we entered try airport there is no transport from resort we book transport. Once we are in resort there is no one to welcome us we got luggage out of car and started checking in. Got preferred suite which I was booked and very happy king bed with sofa bed. Fist day dinner was at world cafe it has big buffet but not fresh flys all over the buffet station refills are done very unhinge no staff will have caps or gloves only few from inside staff wears it. Still was hoping it’s just that day. Second day started break fast at preferred club at beach side staff was tonight then guests . Order omelet the guy making was not even able to hold or turn the omelet . Grill was hot egg was burnt and vegetables not cooked. Had lunch in same restaurant it was ok. Dinner eat at hibachi waited for 30 mins got table this guy at grill was very poor cooking standards . AirCondition was drippy on top of me informed in-charge he was like told to maintenance not came at but Not caring to move me to other table or any thing I was in hunger so just left it 3 rd day got stomach bug and was vomiting and can’t do any thing for that day Over all food was not good to the property standard’s. Coco cafe is the best place. it took 4 days to recover from the food related stomach bug for me and my daughter .

Relaxing holiday
Had a lovely relaxing week enjoying the sunshine and beach. We had an issue with the room but was resolved without any fuss . All staff were very friendly and helpful. Gustavo, our concerige, kept us informed on a daily basis and made sure everything was okay. We had no issue with sunbeds, but if you want a particular one near the beach, you might need to get up earlier. The only suggestion to improve would be to update the sunbeds in the preferred areas.

Incredible Family Vacation!
Our experience at this hotel was fantastic! The entertainment team was amazing, especially Bryan, Baby, and Jerry, who were friendly, fun, and made our stay unforgettable. The mini club and activities were excellent, keeping everyone engaged and entertained. The food was also outstanding, with the Japanese restaurant being a highlight. The bar service and waitstaff were incredibly attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, the entire staff provided exceptional service, making this one of the best family-friendly hotels in Bayahibe. We can’t wait to return!

3 Stars for a poor 5 star resort
Has pretensions of being a 4 to 5 star Hotel, has lots of the right ingredients but too often it’s delivered at a 3 star level. Needs a lot of work to get up to a good standard. Previously stayed at Excellence would recommend you spend your money there.
