Hyatt Globalist Surfing Family
Property is HUGE, clean, safe & functional. Food is amazing, tons of activities for the whole family. The wave directly out front of the resort "Burros" Is accessible via a rocky beach. The resort rents boards & there is a surf shop accross the street from main gate. Most advanced surfers will want to bring their own equipment as the surfboard rental selection at hotel is limited. Staff is incredible, food is very very good. If you want to do Tepinyaki Resturant make rez ASAP - fills up fast! Our butler Alonzo went above & beyond to make our stay amazing. Request him, he is the man! A great property for Hyatt Globalists & Families who have members that want to surf on VACAY. We will be back !

Beautiful resort, good stay
Rooms were beautiful. Preferred club location is best, (wouldn’t want to stay in the rooms located night the water park (far from everything g lobby annd golf cart needed to get to them) ocean and resort view. Resort is beautiful. We love food and restaurants and felt this resort was lacking in options for food / restaurants. Staying on the dreams side with a one year old we only had the following dinner options, Mexican, Italian, Asian, seafood. Usually resorts have more options. Food was good, service was good. Drinks were ok. Lots of chairs available by pools, the good one fill up quick (ocean view pool) Nightly Activities were lacking, shows and entertainment were just ok, seen better many times at over 30 other resorts. But we were there to relax anyways. Didn’t have a foam party white night party or many shows at might if you are looking for fun. My aunt loved the water biking and aquatic aerobics everyday. We loved the poolside popsicles. Sunsets were beautiful. I am pregnant and was worried about zika/ bugs. There were ZERO bugs there which was amazing. Beach was beautiful. Better than expected. Water was freezing. Special mentions to employees Pool server Antonio, buffet servers Elsa Karen, Italian restaurant server Gerardo We travelled as a group. My mom aunt in a connecting room in proffered club panoramic resort/ocean view room. And myself and husband and one year old stayed in the other room. Rooms were beautiful. Next door is construction not a nice view but it doesn’t rlly affect the stay, not loud or noisy, and you can’t see it from the balcony (only the side where the entrance to the room is outside the door) Felt the value for the price (over 3k pp cad for 7 nights flight from Toronto + stay was a lot compared to other resorts) Also the weddings aren’t very private (lots of ppl very close by watching in their swim suits) No matter what all staff we encountered went out of their way to help us with what we needed. Staff are very professional and friendly in all parts of the resorts

Would go again
Could’ve had more help around the busier areas. Ie pool , outside bars etc . Clean , food was good on the secrets side. Didn’t go anywhere other than that. Didn’t care for kids being mixed in when the the two sides are split. We came with adults..

Relaxing Yet Inconsistent
The views and customer service are A+, especially at the Sky Bar (8th floor pool) and the spa (Petra has amazing hands for the 80 min relaxing massage). Dreams is family friendly while Secrets is adult only. However, no one verifies access when moving between the 2, which is problematic when I upgraded my room for exclusive access to Secrets. Housekeeping and room service were not consistent. The food is average. The Mexican food is the best; other cultures are ok. The alcoholic drinks are watered down. The staff is very friendly and attentive but often offer things the resort doesn’t have in stock. I’ll be back to Puerto Vallarta but will try other places to stay.
