Nov 18, 2024It was nice to be back!
The Divi is under a lot of construction but it did not lessen our enjoyment very much. Many walkways were closed and a lot of equipment and debris were on the property while they were trying to finish up the villas. However, the fabulous staff makes the trip so enjoyable from year to year. So many good people work at this resort and have become like family over the years.

Our first time staying at Divi Phoenix II. Staff very friendly and helpful. There were a few glitches at check in. The concierge did everything she could to get us into a nicer, higher floor, one bedroom. The food at PureOcean was really good! This isn’t an all inclusive so the drinks were pricey.

Nice resort
3rd time at this hotel.like the fact that it's not a big party. Beds are hard in room 901. Staff is friendly especially sandra W @ the towel hut. Bartenders are great RJ has been helping us since 2021. Try to stay in a room in the main building they are nice. Pools are clean. Not much of an entertainment staff but I think they do have a list of activities

An enjoyable three weeks on this happy island!
We have been in Aruba for three weeks now and loving every minute of it. Today is our last day to swim and enjoy the beach. We are leaving Saturday 11/16/24. I have already written one review for the first two weeks and included it on my personal blog. We are in our new renovated room in the Villas which is beautiful. There were a few things that had to be fixed and they are working toward making it perfect for the next occupants. There were so many wonderful people I have to mention and extend a special thanks to them for all their efforts to make our stay so special. Charlotte Baarh (concierge) Thank you, Charlotte for the lovely earrings and making my stay so special with your kindness! I will keep my promise to put you in my next book! Valerie Hoch (Housekeeping Supervisor) Thank you, Valerie, for getting all the little things fixed in our room and supplying us with all the items we needed! Sandra Mora (Towel hut) Thank you, Sandra, for supplying us with our towels and a beautiful smile each day! We will miss you until next year! Angelica Cuyatte (main desk) Thank you, Angelica, for your hospitality and listening to my concerns and taking care of them wearing your lovely smile. O’Neil Doyley (Security) Thank you, O’Neil, for taking care of our safety on the beach and for your delightful personality and always being so entertaining with your humor and smiles. Gabriel Marckenzy & Edmond Kock (maintenance) Thank you, Gabriel & Edmond, for working hard to fix some issues in our new room. We look forward to returning next year to more sun, fun, surf and delicious food and to once again spend time with our friends on the island in our home away from home. I stayed for a week with my family of grown children and had a great time. Staff made us feel at home. The quality of the services and staff outstanding. Quiet end of palm beach makes it less hetic but still available.
