    Rooms and grounds fantastic, restaurants sub par.

    Decent 3 star hotel. Restaurant staff is not friendly except Frankie at Rix. Plan for at least a 50 minute wait for all restaurants plus another 45 minutes for food to arrive. Or simply plan to Uber elsewhere. Or eat the limited options at the Mercado. Pools were clean and well kept. Immaculate landscape! Rooms were very clean and beds quite comfortable! Bell service was very backed up so we waited 45 minutes for luggage delivery to the other side of the resort.

    Almost perfect

    One issue - if something goes wrong then there isn’t much support. We were locked out of our room by cleaning staff on our last night (10 night stay) who somehow left the security latch on. We were outside our room with a baby and 3 year old and called for support. Nobody apologised at any point and when maintenance showed up after we had been outside for over 30 mins they were so rude, didn’t even apologise, just told us to move out of the way of the door when we were trying to explain what was wrong. Honestly so disappointing and at odds with everything else we experienced at Disney. I would at least expect an apology for being locked out through no fault of our own with such young children. Our stay was otherwise brilliant. We loved the grounds, music, main pool but especially the quiet side pools, activities like marshmallow roasting and Mickey tie dye T-shirts, food playground, food was good, staff generally excellent especially at reception and in the quick service dining room. The rooms themselves are clean and refurbished so a good standard. Others in reviews were bothered by convention guests - if anything we found this a bonus, a bit of a change and break from Disney as well as the fact that they weren’t adding to the fight for early bus rope drops. This is a very relaxing place to stay, with hammocks and chairs dotted around the lake, unlike some of the more concrete options that are built up around Disney. We adored the resort and had a magical time. We will probably choose it again when we return to Disney - it is very reasonable for what you get here.

    Quick service better elsewhere

    I went to the quick service eatery, one of us got the buffalo chicken sandwich and the other a chicken and rice bowl. The price was about 2 dollars more than other quick service and although OK we were both underwhelmed and will not return. The sides of French fries and fruit were both good. Coffee fair.

    Please get me out of here

    I was here for a conference. Horrible experience. The restaurants are terrible. There is only a food court and one other restaurant open for breakfast and lunch in an area with extremely high ceilings which means you will dine to the sounds of children screaming no matter the hour of the day. Housekeeping only shows up every other day if you are lucky. You can't get a door dash or any type of delivery to your room and oh by the way you will literally walk almost a mile from the main building to your room dragging your suitcase. I feel like I am stranded on a Disney cult compound with screaming toddlers. I can't wait to leave and I will never be back.

    Absolutely fabulous

    Can't say enough good things about our time here. Beautiful art , lots to do and see. Delicious food and drink. Amazing rooms . You won't want to stay anywhere else after you've been here. Definitely check it out even if your just looking around or grabbing a bite to eat. This is a knee of a kind experience.
