Pedal boats - PoolThere are 7 pools on site. 6 of these pools are located in each of the villages throughout the property. The main pool complex (Fuentes del Morro pool) is located at Old Port Royale is a swashbuckling aquatic adventure themed like a colonial Spanish fortress, Fuentes del Morro Fort. The pool features zero-depth-entry, water cannons, two 12-person spas and 2 water slides—including an 82-foot-long slide that zips through the inside of the fort. The adjacent children's water play area includes squirt hoses, a large bucket that pours water from above and 3 additional waters slides.

We had such a lovely experience here, great atmosphere, lovely staff and gorgeous food. We also have food allergies and the attention to detail on food allergies blew us away. The chef came out and took the order and personally saw to your order .. we didn’t have this experience anywhere else. While the weather wasn’t great and the main pool was being refurbished, it didn’t take from the fact that we had such an enjoyable stay here. Thank you ! It is also so convenient with the skyliner outside the door !

Jan 29, 2025Good Access to Skyliner, But Not the Disney Standard We Expected
We stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort mainly for its easy access to the Skyliner, and that was definitely the best part. Our room in the Trinidad section, themed after The Little Mermaid, was less than a five-minute walk from the Skyliner, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was disappointing. The room had a strong mouldy smell that lingered on our belongings even after washing them at home. We also found a cockroach, the air conditioning was so loud we couldn’t sleep with it on, and the noise from neighbouring rooms was very noticeable. Housekeeping was poor—the bath was dirty all week with marks from previous guests, and we were given a stained towel. They only tidied the room rather than properly cleaning it. The main pool was closed for refurbishment, and we were only informed eight days before check-in. However, due to the weather during our stay, we likely wouldn’t have used it anyway. Given the high price compared to Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort (where we previously stayed), it wasn’t worth the extra cost. While the Skyliner access was great, the poor room conditions, lack of cleanliness, and overall experience did not meet Disney’s usual standards. We won’t be staying here again.

Incredibly relaxed vibe and beautiful hotel
We travelled from Australia as a family of four with our 12 and 16yr old daughters and stayed at Carribean Beach Resort for 11 nights. We were nervous about the size of the resort from what we had read, but still requested the refurbished "under the sea" 5th sleeper room upon arrival. Despite not having originally been allocated a room in this section, they made it happen for us and our room was ready at 10am. We had a corner room and it was surprisingly spacious. There was plenty of drawer space to unpack all our clothes and we stored the empty suitcases in the corner of the room. My 12 year old slept in the 5th sleeper bed and just fitted in terms of length. We phoned and requested a microwave which was promptly brought. It was relatively easy to get around the resort using the internal bus system or walking and the Spyglass Grill was right by our building. They also have toasters and microwaves available to use there and provide free butter and cream cheese (you just have to ask). Skyliner access was incredible and the Joffreys always had coffee and tasty doughnuts! When my daughter got sick, reception sent crackers to the room and offered medical attention. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the relaxed vibe after long park days and felt there weren't heaps of screaming children, which made our stay more pleasant. We would 100% stay at this resort again.

Jan 19, 2025Fun pool, skyliner is a huge plus, but this place is big
I loved the skyliner and the pool area. The pubic spaces are nice and the food court is plentiful and just fine. The sheer size of this place is the only drawback. It takes a long time to go anywhere. I would stay here again if I was staying 3 days or more and if I had resort days where I wasn't going to the park so I had plenty of time to enjoy what it has to offer. It is beautiful. I love that there's a joffrey's by the skyliner. Overall not our favorite Disney resort but it's a good choice for the skyliner and great pool for kids.

This room is terrible for the price. There is one tiny window and all the furnishings are heavy making the room very dark. The beds are high off the ground making it difficult to get in and the room is tired, dated and unattractive. Do not stay here.
