Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. At least one person per room must be 21 or older to check in/register.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
General Information - Room taxes are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.

See those beautiful pictures of the infinity pool in the advertisements? It’s closed. The magnificent lobby? Closed. The lobby bar was closed upon our arrival but recently re-opened. Booked in June 2024. This is our third return to this (typically) magnificent property. The Diplomat has always felt like our home away from home during our annual winter break getaways. We would have skipped this year had we been advised. I don’t work all year to stay at hotels under construction. Pretty sneaky, Hilton. The magic was absent this trip. Shame on Hilton corporate for not advising guests of the conditions they would encounter- total money grab. Service remains impeccable (Gio, Jim at the cafe, beach guys) but the grandeur of the property is quashed with the bleakness of barricades and the whiz of drills in the air.

It is a beautiful property with spacious rooms and friendly staff - Chevelle at check in was charming. The resort fee includes quite a lot of amenities including cabanas so the price is worth it. Lots of restaurants on the property with a variety of options.

Great guest service
Me. Harrison is wonderful very helpful. Additionally I can’t say enough positive words about the staff at the counter John was so delightful at the counter. Brenna at the front desk answered all my questions. Beach staff wonderful and the house keeping staff on the 28th floor all deserve raises

Post cruise stay
The full ocean view king rooms with balcony are great. The lobby and restaurants are lovely. We rented a car and it was so easy with pick up and drop off at the parking garage of the hotel. The infinity pool is currently undergoing renovations, the remainder of the outside is to be renovated after. It will be amazing when it is all complete. We met Maria who was very helpful.

I recently stayed at The Diplomat Beach Resort, and it was truly a spectacular experience from start to finish. This resort has everything you could want for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and check-in was seamless. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotless, with a breathtaking view!
