A very nice example of a Marriott hotel. Checked in on-line and obtained a mobile key! Physical check in was a breeze but a quirk is that the reception is on the 5th floor (due to the topography of the area). Good clean room with the usual fixtures and fittings. Restaurant was very nice with really good quality food and wonderful staff. Check out was seamless. An enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard in late August the weekend following the completion of the Fringe. We found the hotel’s location excellent for site seeing. Although Edinburgh is an extremely walkable city after a long day of walking it was nice to have the option to grab the tram back to the hotel in the evening. The hotel is right on the tram line with a stop just across the road. We also utilized the tram to and from the airport. The hotel offered everything you would expect from a Marriott property.

Stayed in this hotel before and really liked it. But very tired and needing a tidy up. One the room was freezing next night to warm air conditioning/ heating very unpredictable. For the price we paid definitely can get better for less. The good thing is it is very central for everything. But the parking is expensive even with discount.

Great working space
Used the hotel for a working space one Friday morning, and looked after wonderfully by the amazing Kasia- so welcoming, such a lovely quiet, peaceful and comfy space to work in on a drizzly Friday, and perfect hosting. Will come again! Thanks Kasia!

Courtyard Marriott Edinburgh
Great hotel and staff are respectful and welcoming especially Annie on reception who smile was always there and also Kashi in the 1802 restaurant so friendly and respectful and welcoming well done to you both you made our stay so wonderful thank you both
