This was our first time to Jamaica. We loved the resort which is on the smaller side from our experience. This provided pluses and minuses to our previous visits to all inclusive resorts. A benefit we thoroughly enjoyed was the short walk from our room to the beach, along with the beautiful view over the ocean from our balcony. A drawback to the smaller resort was the quality of evening entertainment was lacking compared to other vacations we have taken. Would this stop us from coming back, absolutely not. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your vacation complete and enjoyable. A few names I remember are Dwight, Karelia, Omar, Ryon, and Jermaine, though these are just a few of the hard-working staff who went above and beyond to make our vacation truly wonderful and we are very grateful🙏🏻. As has been noted, the rooms are a little dated, but who spends that much time in the room anyways? However, the bed in the room was so comfortable. I am considering calling up the resort to find out what brand they are and where I can get one! We never had an issue with being able to get chairs down on the beach as quite a few of the guests go over to the island during the daytime. Another big incentive to go to this resort are the excursions which are included in the price of the stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the catamaran ride in the Ocho Rios area, along with the snorkeling trips, which are available. A big thank you once again to all the hard-working people involved with couples tower Isle👍🏻

Excellent stay in Jamaica
Just home from an excellent stay at this hotel . We were greeted like old friends on arrival, with wine and cold towels. Once the formalities were done we were shown to our room . Furnishings were a little dated , the large bed was very comfortable. The view off the balcony was breathtaking. The room service kept the room spotless clean and the fridge topped up. Food was excellent in the restaurants , the bayside was outstanding Asian influenced food . 8 rivers was delicious gourmet food . The main buffet restaurant was also good , the food was excellent but a little more choice would of been nice. The snack bar by the main pool was worth a visit as well. Entertainment was good overall , high light for me being the silver birds steel band. Piano bar was enjoyable if a little repetitive. The Entertainment team tried really hard all the time we was there. A big shout out must go to the staff ,from the front desk to the cleaning staff they were friendly and went out there way to be helpful. My wife is disabled and needed a wheelchair.We planned on hiring one locally but the hotel let us borrow one for our stay. The wheelchair accessibility was ok with ramps to all levels bar down to the beach and lower pool. I pushed my wife and think some of the ramps would be a struggle if she had been on her own. Automatic doors to the ramps would of helped greatly, although the always seemed to be friendly staff to help a hand.

Might have to reconsider for future!
We have spent many holidays in CTI and enjoyed every one of them with no exceptions. But I agree with a previous review that some of the standards are slipping over the years but not reflected in the price. The staff in all areas are what make this hotel great. The food in all restaurants was ok this visit but not as good as previous years. Often served cold. Drinks are good and of a high standard, just ask for high brand when ordering your drink. Rooms are a bit dated but immaculately clean. We had a couple of issues which were mainly resolved but really shouldn’t have had to deal with even small issues at the price we pay. The journey to and from the airport is awful! Not the hotels fault but the roads are so so busy it is a bit scary. Might have to reconsider if we will ho back again for this reason and also because we noticed that the “couples “ theme is getting less and less with large groups arriving which are not necessarily in couples relationship. Because of this it is harder to get into the restaurants and is completely changing the vibe of the hotel that we have always loved. Loyalty doesn’t seem to mean anything anymore as we have been going for about 20 years and this year had the worst view from our room ever. We did point it out but all other issues were sorted but no mention of the room! However we had a great holiday but might have to move on.

Wonderful time again - 7th visit. The staff really make CTI so attractive. Pros: Staff (exceptional) Food - all restaurants ( although declining quality compared to previous years) Cleanliness Gardens Piano bar Silver Birds (exceptional) entertainment Beds- large and comfy Cons: Travel from Montego Bay airport - 2 hour journey- minimum. We have noticed the traffic getting worse each time for the past 7 years. Quite frankly, the road infrastructure cannot cope and serious investment is required. Travel back yesterday took 4 hrs and 15 mins due to an accident. Chaos was an understatement. We managed to get our flight but several others missed their flights. This was not a ‘one off’ as we had experienced the poor roads on previous visits. CTI driver was fantastic. Many more hotels being built and more people have cars now so the roads are heavily congested. There are no alternative roads to use - essentially 1 road from airport to CTI or Sans Sochi. It is for this reason that we are unlikely to book again. Think very carefully when booking - 3-4 hours on a small coach or taxi is not something we want to do again. There is an alternative airport at Ocho Rio’s with flights from Miami. Literally 10 mins away although the flights are limited. If we do go again we we use this route even though there are direct flights to MBay from UK. Rooms are very tired now - not 5 star. They are clean but extremely dated. Urgent investment is required. We have noticed small declines over the years- nothing major but each time we go the quality reduces. Drink & food choices/ quality are notable. Cost - the cost now for UK travellers is expensive compared to other similar destinations and cruises. My fear is that Couples will shortly be pricing themselves out with more attractive alternatives. Finally, the resort is great with exceptional staff who really do make the stay enjoyable. Kemal (waiter) Whitney (piano bar) Adrian ( gardener) and Paulette (guest services) are stars. Think VERY carefully if using Montego Bay airport - we won’t be doing this again. After a 10 hour flight the last thing you want is a taxi ride exceeding 4 hrs or even 2-3 on a good day.

Had a great time....
We had a great time. The staff, food, and entertainment were excellent. We had high winds for a few of our vacation days, so the island and the water sports were closed but we still had a great time. I highly recommend the couples massage. I have been to other all inclusive resorts, and what I think makes Couples Tower unique is that the resort never felt crowded.
