Good Stay- Perfect for relaxation
My stay here was great, no complaints! The location is convenient- right in the heart of Rodney Bay Village, walking distance to restaurants, bars, lounges and duty-free shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, everything needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast every morning was excellent, with a wide variety of options available. Dined at the on-site restaurant on my birthday and the table was decorated, birthday dessert plate after the meal, Thank you to all the ladies who sang happy birthday and provided great service throughout dinner!! Poolside was another favorite, Friendly staff and warm hospitality left a lasting impression, definitely had a great birthday trip while staying at Coco Palm.

Coco Palms is a great hotel in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia
We stayed at the Coco Palm Resort hotel for 3 nights before embarking on an Island Windjammer cruise. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to many local restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed - very comfortable. Our room overlooked the large pool area which was lined with trees and flowering plants. There is a beautiful tree next to the pool that is swarming with hummingbirds. Breakfast was a lovely buffet served in the covered, open-air pavilion at the end of the pool area. There are two supermarkets, a beach, and many restaurants, bars, and shops within close walking distance from the hotel.

Not amazing
Nice enough hotel although a bit dated, needs a little of tlc. Half the staff are lovely and friendly, half don't seem too bothered really so it feels a bit unwelcoming at times. Pool is nice although you've to be up with the birds to snag a sunbed. We upgraded to a suite to take in the view, was nice to have the extra space and view but that was where the suite perks end. We did the catamaran excursion to the Pitons, Souffrier and the volcano which was fun, and again some staff and locals super friendly, others not so. Guess that's the same as most places, but they do rely heavily on tourism. The cable car through the rainforest was Fantastic, beautiful views of the island and very relaxing, loved it. Staff here were lovely, very helpful 😀. St Lucia was quite expensive, we had a good walk around a few shops and supermarkets and cost of living seems high! Weather started off wet, but it was warm , then after three days it heated up and stayed sunny 🌞. The driving is a bit hands on, not for the fainthearted! It's very hilly and you're driving through jungle so roads can be rough, but all part of yhe experience if you're up for it. Probably won't make it back anytime soon but lots of positives about this country. The three stars are for the hotel, really

Great place
We had two couples for one night and this hotel was great. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is friendly and the attached restaurant was terrific. The only caution I would offer is for families on an extended stay the hallway noise could be loud at night due to the beautiful but echoing tiles. Highly recommended place for adults to stay here.

Clean hotel and close to beach but not a very friendly welcome and quite disorganised
We stayed at Coco Palm over Christmas and New Year. We arrived at the hotel about 9pm after a long day travelling to be greeted by reception staff who seemed uninterested and unwelcoming and made us feel like we were being an inconvenience! Little information on our package was provided and we were made to fill in a form with information which was already in the form, handed a key and pointed in the direction of our room. The package we had included a special offer of a free lunch. However when we arrived we were told we also got free drinks. The next day when we double checked this with reception they informed us it was only drinks with lunch. We were ok with this but when we checked out at the end of our stay it turned out we hadn’t paid for any of our drinks and presumably they were included. Perhaps we would have stayed at the hotel bar more had we realised this. The breakfast buffet was good but be warned the queue for the ‘egg station’ gets enormous. We tried all different times of the day but it was always insane - hardly surprising with just one poor girl trying to cook eggs on two hot plates for a full hotel! We had Christmas lunch on Christmas Day which was very nice and we were impressed. The food on other days was good but after two weeks it did get a bit repetitive. We were there for Christmas and New Year and we did find it difficult to get any information beforehand about what was happening these days - what was included in our package and what not. This made it really difficult to plan for days when there wasn’t much else open. The room was clean and spacious and the house keeping staff did a good job. Overall the hotel was ok but we did find the staff were often not very forthcoming, there was often a delay in getting drinks at lunch or later in the evening at the bar - I know some of this is the Caribbean relaxed way of life but I did feel in a hotel the service could have been better- waiting 30 min for an extra drink with my lunch wasn’t great! I’m not sure we’d stay here again. We didn’t feel particularly welcome and certainly reception staff need some training in dealing with people, offering advice and having a welcoming presence. It felt to us that everything was just too much effort for them and we were causing a problem asking!
