Apr 17, 2025A week of work and RELAXATION in the Hotel
Very nice hotel, externally and internally... I stayed for work 5 nights in a row last week with my wife for work in Venice and something I did also from the room like Teams meetings and more. I must say very clean and tidy, every morning in order of floor starting from the low ones rearrange the rooms, the only drawback when we arrived the bathrobes were folded on a dusty high floor, alas it will have escaped, but we immediately changed and cleaned the floor; the super professional and very kind staff, available to all requests appropriate to a stay for work or vacation, very smart in particular I noticed Mrs. Daniela at the reception and the breakfast room manager whose name I do not remember; the breakfast is spectacular, as you can see in the photos, even a loom of the poor bees, particular experience, so much they arrange them on another 😃... in breakfast you find everything from salty to sweet, I then trying a little at lunchtime I did not eat 😎 the thing that struck me a lot though is the quality of food, it is not the usual standard international breakfast, milk and yogurt seemed mountain, homemade cakes and sweet, fragrant and stuffed croissants like the bar, the delicious and crispy bacon, scrambled eggs not dry, fresh mozzarella in water, really everything excellent ... when there is good weather have a beautiful terrace on the Grand Canal for breakfast, if you do not make sense the intrusive pigeons. Many reviews I have seen that complain that the rooms are allocated in the building just attached and that in the small passage there is the smell of sewer, however my advice: the passage is very short hold your nose (it is not the hotel’s fault) and book if you can do it a lot before the stay to grab the rooms on the upper floors, ours was on the 4th floor and it was great, no smell rose, then anyway in Venice if there is low tide there is a bad smell everywhere; we had also paid a supplement to have the room with a view of the Grand Canal, beautiful view, look at the photos (for once we spoiled ourselves 😜 combining work with some anti-stress benefits). Among the photos I posted, you will see one I took at the Hotel on the other side of the Grand Canal where by way of explanation (with blue marks) I marked the entrance, the veranda on the canal for breakfast, the narrow passage to access the building next door to the hotel for the rooms and at the top the room where we stayed (from the room looking below we saw the breakfast balcony). 5 nights in a double room with a view of the Grand Canal + breakfast included came just over 1,600 € ... it is a bit expensive but in Venice a stone’s throw from the station there is ‘... this week and Easter but the price was much higher.

What a wonderful hotel!
What a wonderful hotel! We have been lucky enough to stay for four days. Our beautiful room had a balcony which was an unexpected surprise and so enjoyed. As others have said the breakfast is so tasty and varied. Eat in the restaurant in the evening also. Food and atmosphere super. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The young lady who served us our first night looked out for us each time we visited. Just such good service with a smile. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us welcome. They were so generous with their English also and didn't laugh at my accent when I attempted to speak Italian. I 100% recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Venice station. From our canal-view room, we can see the canal from the side of our windows. Check-in staff is friendly and helpful. There were a total 4 free bottles of water in the room, 2 still and 2 sparkling. The breakfast buffet is has a good variety including salad, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, juices, etc. The hotel is beside the canal with many restaurants and shops around, with many still open at around 10pm. Front desk staff was very helpful and really detailed when explaining.

Canal View Hotel with Excellent Staff
This is an excellent hotel. The staff is amazingly resourceful and pleasant to interact with. The presentation and location are amazing! The hotel sits on the canal with a private dock. If you're lucky you will get a room overlooking the waterways like we did. Being 5 minutes from the train station as well makes this a win win win! I cannot recommend this stay enough!

Great Short Break
Had a really good stay here in Mid-March 2025. We were originally booked to stay on Lido but changed at the last moment to be closer to the action! This hotel is definitely that. Right on the Grand Canal and close to many shops and restaurants. The Rialto Bridge about 20 minute walk, The Aliguna stop for the airport water buses about 5 minutes away and less than 5 minutes walk to the train station (This was good for us as we had an early morning trip to Florence). Check in was quick and easy. We were given room 426, which was right next to the lift. This kind of concerned us and we thought it would be noisy, but no, due to the layout of that room (split level) there was barely any noise. Bed was comfy. We had a split level balcony too though our view was just over other buildings. Breakfast was good (loved the chicken sausages and mortadella!), both hot and cold and replenished constantly. I only have one minor niggle and that was that the height of the shower head was too low for me to stand under so had to hold it in my hands. All in all, a really good stay in great hotel in an excellent location. Would definitely stay here again.
