From the moment we arrived, we felt nothing but love, care, and truly exceptional service. This trip wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing people who made every moment special! Ana at reception – THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! Words can’t express how much Ana meant to us during this trip. She’s not just great at her job – she’s a true heart and soul of the hotel. Warm, welcoming, always smiling, and full of positive energy. She remembered our names, made every conversation feel personal, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. You can truly feel that she loves what she does – and we loved every moment with her! Thank you, Ana, from the bottom of our hearts – you are unforgettable! 🫶🏻🏝️ Jordani, the Assistant Manager – professional, kind, and always making sure everything runs perfectly. Much better than I expected! I had seen mostly mixed reviews of Catalonia, and the thing is scared of me The most was some reviewers said the food was bad. Catalonia HAS VERY GOOD FOOD compared to other all inclusive in the area. The property needs some renovations in the buildings, but it is absolutely gorgeous. I especially like the beach area that had plenty of shade. Service on the beach was a little slow, but not bad. I have stayed at 18 different resorts in the area. I have Catalonia 6th out of 18, and their prices are usually a lot lower than the others. Give Catalonia a shot. It’s been a long time since a hotel in this area has exceeded my expectations. All service staff and chef’s should be extremely proud of themselves.👍😎🥳

Nice and friendly staff. Food is decent But would Not Book again. Super boring and nothing to do unless you’re on the families with kids. Will have more fun off resort. Bed is hard and bars close early. Liquor is watered down . Only those who are exclusive gets top notch drink and services including adequate a/c

Beach side service
Patricia is A wonderful person who always makes us feel loved and valued with are stay. We will recommend staying here. She is very friendly , always suggesting special drinks!! Always has a smile and willing to go the extra mile! Definitely a great employee!!

Nice holiday but not as veggie friendly as I expected.
I read reviews before I booked, most were about the beach. It has seaweed, but it is cleaned constantly. Its the ocean, seaweed is going to happen. This was not an issue for us. Bugs were an issue but not the fault of the hotel. It was giant flies. My partner and I have so many big itchy bites from the beach. Horse flies is what I think they are. We choose this resort because it had a vegetarian restaurant. The veggie restaurant is only open Thursdays and there is a glitch with the system so you can't book. Even the front desk could not get us in. We noticed the restaurant was empty that night. The rest of the restaurants had your typical one veggie option if any. The food truck on the beach had a veggie burger so I had that often. I would not recommend this resort if you are a vegetarian. The food overall was nice and the restaurants were great. I do eat fish so I did not have a problem with variety. We did not pay extra for privilege upgrade. I would not recommend this. It allows you access to a separate area of the beach and a few menu options. The beach area has no shade, is in the pathway to the bar and has the speaker for music on the beach. In short, its busy, loud and super hot. The extra menu items were not anything special. The rooms with private pools face in the resort and offer no privacy. There is really no benefit to room upgrades. Our basic room was private and perfect. The sales staff for the resort are not pushy at all. They offer you extras but take no for an answer. The sales on the beach are a little intense. I think I said "No Gracias" 50 times a day. The hotel grounds were well kept and beautiful. The staff was friendly. The housekeeping was so great. My room was full of flowers and towel swans everyday. Yeinzy (I hope I got her name right ) made my trip! Always smiling and kind. The drinks were not weak and the bar staff was friendly. The juice bar was fantastic. Take cat treats, there are so many cute cats on the property. My favourite was Kitty - No Tail, who hangs out by the pool near the big white LOVE sign. If you see her, tell her I said hello.
