May 11, 2025Not too bad but a lot of noise
We are half way through our 8 day family vacay (3 adults, 5yr and 1yr). The hotel is clean, staff is nice, pool is nice. We upgraded our room to a villa (ended up being $1300can more than what we paid through our package which is a lot, we travel twice a year and don’t cheap out, this was pretty expensive). The room is large, bigger than most apartments I’d say. Comes w fridge, 2 bedrooms, living room, dining, washer/dryer, dishwasher, pretty much everything. We mostly chose this for more spaces kids and because the regular rooms don’t have patios which we wanted. So I’m mostly giving the resort a 3 because the noise outside is almost unbearable, it’s a constant loud generator type noise. You can hear it even if doors are closed, to sit outside and listen to it is not relaxing at all. This may not be an issue for some ppl but I like listening to the rain or just having some quiet while sitting outside and I found the noise kept me awake for 2. Nights as an annoyance and souring outside was not as relaxing. Because of this minor issue, I woujd not get the vila agsin and probably wouldn’t stay here. There’s so many other resorts near this one, I rather have quiet and maybe not quite as expensive. Also room service does not for to these rooms which is a tad annoying, you have to go to one of restaurants in hotel to order then bring it back up to room (and on that note, not much of a kids menu or menu for that matter). Staff were very nice, parking is easy and the hotel is close to alot of amnesties and activities but one I said there’s a TON of other hotels near here that I’d try. Either way we had a great Disney trip and will return but will try another hotel that is less noisy with an upgraded room and has more food options. Oh and the pools here are nice, I wouldn’t want to be there during high season though as pools are quite small but during downtime it’s manageable!

May 08, 2025Outstanding Service from Steve Brown – Made Us Feel Like VIPs!
Steve Brown at the Caribe Royale made our stay unforgettable! He went above and beyond, always being friendly and professional, making us feel like VIPs. Not only did he give us directions, but he also personally walked us to our destinations, even when it involved covering a long distance. Steve is the kind of team member that every resort needs. Thank you for the amazing service!

Great Stay at Caribe Royale! Massive shoutout to Rolando!
I had such a great time at Caribe Royale. Rolando the supervisor, really made my stay enjoyable by keeping everything running smoothly. Great hotel and solid staff! Calypso restaurant is amazing, enjoying my meal by the pool. Highly recommend the red snapper fish sandwich, sooo good!

Could be 5 Star
Positives Villas are clean and spacious, daily housekeeping is a huge plus. Private villa pool is great as main pool crazy at the Weekends. Hotel main building is beautiful, Starbucks onsite is great ( except for at the Weekends when lines resemble those at Disney ! ) . Market has fab pizzas , salads , baked goods etc. Location is perfect. Issue in one of the rooms of villa was addressed immediately. Not so positive Villa not ready initially - checking in at 10pm after 9 hour flight so not a great start but sorted in the end after a lot of to and fro. Manager initially offered 100 dollars resort credit for the inconvenience and then retracted this as villa was actually available so confusing start to communication Paid for a late checkout on day of departure, left the room early morning to catch the last of the sun and key card blocked when we returned at 1130am. Went to reception and was told key card couldn’t be activated without ID ( ID in room as paid for late checkout so not expecting key to be locked ! ) . Understand the reasoning but after paying for the late checkout didn’t expect the frosty response received when the lady at the front desk was approached . Security lady who came to unlock could not have been nicer though . Summary , could be 5 star but customer service could do with improvement in some areas

The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The grounds are kept up. MATRE D' at Ventian was so accommodating and knowledgeable. The pool staff greeted us every morning with a smile and made sure we were taken care of. The big problem is whoever manages the pool bar and pool waiter/waitress. There not only is a conference going on but a Cheer competition. The pool is packed, he should have realized that. It's Friday and goes the weekend into next week. The pool waiter/waitress starts at noon. We saw him all of 5 minutes and never saw after that. I dont understand, whatever his salary/hrly wage was, hes making 18% min on wver bill as its an add on. We would go to to pool side restaurant, there would be 3 bartenders working their a.. off. Trying to keep up the customers plus the over flow from poolside. Absolutely uncalled for. Horrible customer service and the fact he couldn't understand that for better staffing. The corporation is loosing so much money, that as a business owner, it's an easy fix. Add to staff and it'll pay for itself. You have a captive audience. Would not come back here.
