Manuel very attentive at the buffet. A+ server. Beach was very disappointing. I give it a 1 out of 10. Very rocky. And not swim worthy at all. Facilities are nice but somewhat worn down. Food was maybe a 5 out of 10. Overall I have stayed at better.

Pedro is the best for water cycling and aerobics. He took the time to talk to us at the end of our trip. Angel was a very nice waiter at the Xhale Preferred breakfast and Strip Grill lunch and dinner. He was always teaching us Spanish which we liked. Beach volleyball was fun every day. There is plenty of dancing at night if your up for it. The night shows were generally good, including the cabaret show.

Don’t let the beach stop you from booking!
This resort is a great time! The beach is the only thing that lacks, but the amazing pools make up for it. I am a beach girl, but that hasn’t stopped me from booking here twice! Rooms, service, food, pools, and entertainment are all great! If you need a good beach day, book the catamaran to Isla Mujeres for the day.

Average at best
This is the 3rd time we went to BRC, the last time was in 2019. The resort has gone downhill big time since then. We won't go back. The food was average in quality as well as in choices on the menu. The filet I had at Picante was better than the one I had at the Steakhouse. Coquette was probably the best of the specialty restaurants. We did the Hibachi table. That was fun and the food we got served was great. The food at the Spoon for breakfast was ok, but a lot of the bread items were stale and not fresh. Orange juice used to be fresh pressed. It is now the store bought kind and watered down. Our rooms were fine, clean and some minor issues were taken care of right away. Mini fridge was alway restocked. Room service menu has only a few choices. Cheese enchiladas are a safe bet. The staff is what keeps this place going. Pascual, William, Joanna and Joaquin from Spoon and Rogelio from the Pool area are the best. Xavier the bellhop will take care of you and make sure you get your luggage to your room and back to the lobby on the day you leave.

from the time Xavier meet us at the front lobby to the heartfelt hug that our new friend, Lidia (Xhale Club bartender) gave us when it was time to leave, it was amazing! . the property is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. Our goal was to spend time relaxing and this is the place to do that. Would definitely return.....especially to see Lidia :)
