Jan 28, 2025It was a beautiful resort
The atmosphere was really great. The staff were all really nice and the food was pretty good overall. I didn't love the drinks..it just didn't seem like there was any alcohol in the drinks, just a sugary margarita or carbonation only champagne. SO that was a bummer. I loved the beach and the service on the beach from the staff was great! All the servers were so nice. The restaurants were all amazing and the staff were so accommodating What I did not love was that I could not contact my concierge and when my travel agent asked about my trip and said specifically to contact the concierge with questions, I let her know I had tried to message him 4 times with no response. Then she let the resort know and he was prompt to come find us and try to remedy the situation. He tried to say he was messaging me but the messages he showed me were attached to someone else's name, even though he addressed me by my name when he met up with us. I'm not sure if it was just a mix up or if he was just caught not paying us any attention. Then what made me more annoyed was that the manager then came out to ask about our trip saying our travel agent said we weren't having fun, which was never said (we were having a lovely day at the beach). I explained we had already solved the problem with the concierge, but she kept disrupting our beach time, almost making me feel guilty for just saying I could not get ahold of our concierge....even though that was something that was included in our package....help from him.

Jan 27, 2025Couples Trip To Breathless
We just returned from our trip to Breathless Punta Cana! We had a fantastic experience and I wanted to share our trip. We stayed in the Xhale club level Tropical View Room and had a fantastic Butler named, Joel, who really made the trip for us. The room was very spacious, but honestly nothing too special. The food at the Resort was Excellent! We had a great meal at every restaurant and really felt like the choices and quality was better than other all-inclusive resorts we have stayed at. There was so much to do, that we didn't even need to book excursions.

We have never been so disappointed at a resort. If you are looking to be spoiled and waited on consistently, this is not your place. Felt more like Spring break than an adults only resort. Entertainment was definitely catering to a much younger crowd. We are in our 40’s. Food and service mediocre at best. The only thing that was consistently good was the housekeeping staff! They were amazing.

Breathless over Breathless!!
My husband and I and a group of friends just got back from Breathless Punta Cana and we cannot wait to go back!! The resort offered everything we wanted. Lots of quality restaurants with great food. Great drinks and tons of bar options. The buffet had a huge selection of foods to choose from. Again, great food. The staff was INCREDIBLE. Everyone was so friendly and happy and seemed to truly love what they do!! The entertainment was great too. Also, the amount of pool options was impressive. If you want to party, the party pool is there. If you wanted slightly less crowd and rowdy, the back pool was great. There are also hidden gem pools in the back so when we wanted a quiet day, we had that option too. The beach is lovely too. Breathless also has the added luxury of having access to the Dreams Onyx Resort too. It was great having the ability to roam around both resorts. The Mexican restaurant is to die for! Breathless was an experience that left me wanting more. We will return!!!

Anniversary at breathless
The room is very nice. The restrooms are very nice. The AC could only go down so low. The jacuzzi tub didn't work great. Overall this was for our 25th wedding anniversary and we were happy with our stay. We got to watch the buckeyes win the National Championship there. They showed the game in the night club (End Zone). They started blaring club music with 5 minutes left in the game which was very annoying.
