May 01, 2025So loud, earplugs did nothing!
I’m literally in my bed, and the music is blaring. Wish I could include a video. This is the loudest hotel i have ever stayed in. From the marina waking up at 5am with fisherman yelling, whistling and laughing, to seals barking all day and all night, to music blaring from the resort and also from ships coming in all hours of the night. Our room is literally less than 50 feet from a dance floor in which h there are dancers and loud music with beats shaking the hotel. The resort is SMALL compared to other all inclusive places. Only one buffet that is really small and only open for breakfast. The beach is so small and there are vendors EVERYWHERE making the stay annoying. It’s mostly a public beach so not private by any means. We will NOT come back. The ear plugs do nothing! And the fact that they have ear plugs is a sign that we will not be back. We came from east coat time so it made the transition even worse. But nothing would have prepared us for the significant noise we are experiencing. Literally people yelling, clapping and screaming off our balcony. With no warning! The customer service was good, and the food was good, but if you can’t ever sleep it makes for a very annoying trip.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Hubby and I came during a US college spring break week and we were pleased to find that the hotel wasn't super packed. The hotel is RIGHT downtown and at the end of a gorgeous stretch of swimmable beach. The views from the party pool are phenomenal. Everything is walking distance - restaurants, bars, shops, boats, etc. The drinks and food were really great! The street taco station was phenomenal! I recommend avoiding the tomahawk steak at the Mexican restaurant - you'll be disappointed. We did room service and enjoyed everything except the pizza. We enjoyed the party vibe at the party pool. There is a quiet pool for anyone who prefers that. I loved the free yoga class and also had a great massage at the spa. A few minor glitches. These would not stop me from returning: The pools aren't heated. They were chilly in March, but this likely won't be an issue in the summer months. We had a Exhale Club master suite with hot tub. The room surfaces like walls, bathrooms, walls are elegant but the furnishings are extremely basic, which surprised me. These rooms are on the ground floor and the balcony juts out, so all of the floors above can see you in the hot tub. Some people threw drinks and ice off their decks and it hit us. I wouldn't bother spending the extra money for this room because of these reasons.

UNFORGETTABLE TIME!!!
When we first arrived at Breathless Resort in Cabo, the initial impression was a bit underwhelming. The lobby is dark and not particularly impressive, you might even question your decision to book. But don’t worry. As soon as you head upstairs, everything changes. That’s where the “Breathless” experience truly begins. The views, the vibrant atmosphere, and the beauty of the resort are breathtaking, just like the name promises. Our room was large and modern, featuring a huge walk-in shower with seating, incredibly comfortable beds, and a balcony that overlooks the marina. A great bonus is that all rooms have marina views, so there’s no bad location. If you’re a light sleeper, request a higher floor, there’s often music, live bands, party boats, and even sea lions making noise into the night. For some, it adds to the charm; for others, it’s worth being up a few floors. The entertainment staff at the pool is what truly makes this place unforgettable and the DJ is fantastic!! There’s always something going on, pool volleyball, aqua cycling (yes, actual bikes in the pool!), Spanish lessons, ping pong, and more. It’s easy to jump into activities, win prizes, and meet other guests. The vibe is friendly, upbeat, and social. Special shoutout to Mica who was absolutely amazing!! Her energy, kindness, and ability to make everyone feel included truly elevated the whole experience. I got to know her a bit more when we went Tequila tasting in downtown Cabo and wow, that was a lot of fun!! She’s a gem and deserves all the praise! The resort has a natural social flow to it, where people are constantly connecting, laughing, and, since it’s all-inclusive, “buying” each other drinks just for fun. That said, tipping is very appreciated, so be sure to bring a stash of $1 bills to tip the waitstaff throughout the day or at the end of each shift. Right when you come out from the lobby elevator, there’s also another pool in front of the 24hr Wink Bar, with a beautiful infinity-style view toward the marina. This is the “quiet” pool and quite peaceful. The only downside? It’s not heated so even though I really wanted to get in, it was just too cold for me during my stay. Dining tip: Make a reservation at Nikkei as soon as you check in. It’s one of only two restaurants that require reservations (the other being Spumante). Nikkei is an incredible, intimate dining experience, just eight seats at a sushi bar with a delicious six-course meal. It felt like fine dining at a private club, and yes, it’s included. Be sure to tip the chefs and ask the nearby bartender Alfredo for the “special drink he made for Monica,” you’ll be glad you did! If I could do it over, I’d book Nikkei for two nights. A quick note about the Xhale Club, unless you’re visiting during peak season, it’s probably not worth the extra cost. We went in April, just after spring break, and the club was mostly empty. Several guests mentioned they never even used it after paying for the upgrade. With so many fun activities and great energy around the main pool, there’s really no reason to isolate yourself. Overall, Breathless Cabo is a high-energy, adults-only all-inclusive that lives up to its name once you settle in. The entertainment team, beautiful views, and social vibe make it the perfect place to unwind, connect, and have a great time

Gran experiencia, muy recomendable, y excelente servicio de MIGUEL fue nuestro mesero en el área de alberca. El servicio de bar y restaurante muy bueno, la vista de el lugar muy hermosa Yo vendo Tours, los voy a recomendar mucho, ya publique fotos en mi página de esa gran experiencia!!!

Everything we needed!
Overall we had a decent though outdated room w/ marina view. But warning; the sea lions were loud until late at night & the boat horns start very early in the morning… We had housekeeping service 2x/day which was a nice surprise. Ivan at Bites was absolutely amazing at taking care of us. Julio at Ocate was great accommodating our large wedding group. And Francisco was the ONLY waiter we wanted at the pool!
