Mar 29, 2025Breathless Cabo, Amazing Resort, but READ this first.
Four of us set off from LA to Cabo in March for a week at the Breathless Cabo Resort. Since we have never stayed here before, we read reviews here and watch many vlogger videos on YouTube. We ended up booking the Xhale Club room, due to amenities and bottles of your favorite alcoholic beverage inside of your room, BONUS. Upon arriving, we were walked past the punter(haha) check in desk and taken to the Xhale lounge for check in. Inside the lounge was a private bar with small bite food just for members. Check in was quick, but rooms were a few hours to get ready. We changed and headed to the pool with DJ playing. We ended up coming out here most of the days during our stay. Both Mariano and Hector took Amazing care of us. Both had loungers and drinks ready when they saw us walking towards them. For hours both would make sure we had plenty of our favorite beverages and food. Their service was truly Amazing and we made sure daily to tip them well. Also we spoke with pool staff Stephani and Christopher. Both were so friendly, a wealth of knowledge on the resort and checked on us regularly. truly amazing people. Our favorite DJ was Valdi. He played great music and would put in some AC/DC and similar music for us. We saw him a few times and the at the silent DJ night at Wink Bar, Great Guy!! Our room at the Exhale club was on the 4th floor, with a stunning with of the marina. The room was BIG, clean and stocked with beer, water, soda snacks,,,,, BUT was missing any hard liquor. We called down to inquire and were told Xhale room we had did not come with it. After explaining the research we did and the fact the cheaper rooms came with mini bottles, they agreed and sent two large bottles of Grey Goose up. I appreciated that, but the front desk and manager should have sent them up without push back on the phone. Lesson learned for them. Room was A+, maid came twice a day and everything was always clean and re stocked. Very impressed. We dined at Ocote, which is next to Foam pool. Dining is outside, with views of the marina and mountainside. Being an Xhale member, we ordered from that menu and i had the tomahawk steak. The steak with bone were brought out with veggies and potato puree. The steak was set on fire(for show) and delivered. The steak was perfectly cooked and tasted great, When you go, the tomahawk(bone included) is cut horizontally into two steaks. This was perfect size for us, because double full tomahawk would have been was to much. Staff, food and ambiance was Great! We dined at Sp[umante italian. The first night I ordered lasagna. A perfect portion arrived, was flavorful and with the house bread (olive oil/balsamic) on side was perfect. The second time I ordered a filet/veggie/potato puree dish. The filet was cooked perfectly and the whole meal was by far my favorite. Staff was attentive, you have the outside/inside option for dining, BUT there are two things to be aware of when dining here. Food times to the table was 45 minutes plus on two different occasions. The second is, Spumante backs up to a non resort restaurant called Bagatelle (open second floor dining/DJ). This place is upbeat and plays club/modern music loud. You will have no choice but to listen in when dining outside and some inside as well. For us the music was fine, but for others we could tell they were not a fan. We went several times to Nook coffee bar. We ordered different hot/cold coffee creations and ate some of the wraps and pastries. All in all the drinks were better than other resorts we stayed at, just don't expect it to be on par with Starbucks. One morning after hitting the gym, we went to Nook and I could see a large container of protein power. The Barista made us two protein shakes with it, ice, water and peanut butter and it was Great. Highly recommended. The Wink Bar is next to bites and the second pool, which is quiet and peaceful. the Wink bartenders Erbey & Vianey took amazing care of us each night we hung out. The bar area hosted karaoke, silent DJ and live country music. The bartenders here were personable with us, provided quick service and were always so friendly. All in all we loved this resort and plan to return in the near future. We have stayed at a few other resorts in Cabo, and this was definitely above most.

Breathless Cabo 🤩
My mom and I had a mother daughter trip last weekend and had THE BEST time. Everyone on the entertainment staff was so much fun! Franco was our pool server all weekend and made our trip so special! He made sure we were happy at all times! Nico the lifeguard greeted us with a smile every time we came down to the beach and was so friendly! All the restaurants were amazing! We had room service every morning for breakfast and the pancakes were our favorite! The rooms were very well cleaned! The rest of the staff we encountered were all very nice and accommodating, I would 100% recommend this resort and will be coming back!!

Mar 28, 2025Well located hotel with direct access to swimmable beach which is not common in Cabo
Well located hotel, close to port, downtown shopping, and numerous restaurants. The beach is clean and swimmable. The pools are well maintained and not crowded. The bars have a reasonable selection, and the staff is generally helpful and friendly. However, the restaurants especially on the beach (three of them) have mediocre food with terrible service. The breakfast buffet is quite acceptable. The coffee shop has a decent selection of drinks and snacks. After experiencing the dining in the evening a few times, and being disappointed, we ate out in the proximate restaurants in town which although expensive, are quite good.

Breathless Cabo
Franco serving my wife and I was amazing. Impeccable service. He provided a fun atmosphere and fast service. We recommend the chairs along the pool. The activities were fun and provided something to do. We would recommend this location to friends

Top Notch everything Exceptional
The resort and views were breath taking. The resort was well maintained and clean. The food was delicious and had a nice variety. And the service was exceptional. We were impressed with the hospitality during the whole stay. We will definitely return!
