May 03, 2025Realistically 2-3 star place
The hotel is very popular to locals, many present. It took 1 hour to wait in line and check in when arriving to the hotel. The check in at the lobby did not have any welcome drinks or even water available while standing waiting during this time. Luckily we were able to check in early which was nice. The room is pretty out dated and is much worse than the photos, our bed was broken, the pillows beds bedding towels are very old/cheap material. Room is general very old. The drain doesnt drain the water after our shower so we had to wait inbetween each person or take a fast shower. It is very difficult to get any type of assistance from drinks to shuttle. Shuttle takes at least 30 mins to get, and drinks about the same as well. Expect to go get your own drink and wait in line for atleast 30 min (drinks aren't great either). If you have any disability or can't walk much I do not recommend this place. The one shuttle driver was also very irritated and nearly hits vacationers including a mother with a stroller and baby that were all the way on the side. The food is no more than a 3 star. Half the a la cart menus have additional charges for food. I have been to some other excellent 5 star hotels near by, and even 4 stars and this no where even comes close. I really don't know where the raving reviews are coming from- maybe people who haven't experienced better places like secrets, dreams, bahia principe, riu etc have all been better. I wouldn't recommend this place. The good news is no extra pounds will be gained on this trip due to food being so good or drinks being good.

May 01, 2025excellent service with handicap accessibility.
absolutely love this place restaurant with chef juan was phenomenal. French onion soup was delicious and the fillet was cooked perfectly. The service has been excellent making new friends here. I am slightly disabled. I was able to get a walk-in shower easy access with my scooter in an out of restaurant. The pool has a walk-in, which makes it very easy for me. They’re there to help me at every return without asking.

Animation team was incredible and friendly. Kids Club had awesome staff and our children looked forward to activities every day. Food was excellent. Mexican food is always a treat and authentic restaurant hit all the marks. Thank you for the experience.

We loved the animation team and the kids club staff!
The animation team and the kids club were the best part of our trip…The staff were amazing and our kids loved them…They had so many activities to keep the kids busy and they had a blast! Our stay wouldn’t have been the same if it weren’t for them.

April 2025 Experience
We’ve only been here for a day but far so good. Carlos at the concierge desk is very cool and helpful. The pools are very clean and spacious, but we do wish there were more chairs available. Food isn’t bad but we’ve definitely had much better at other comparable resorts. Rooms are a bit dated but ours in building 7 is completely fine. Staff has been friendly and we’ve enjoyed our experience so far :)
