This is a beautiful location, a great place to relax, watch whales, lounge by the jungle landscapes pool, the staff are happy and attentive. The small town of Mismaloya is welcoming. The kind people that live there and happy to share the beautiful bay they live in. If you can upgrade to premium to enhance your room view and take time to talk and enjoy some time with Caesar, he is amazingly kind and full of knowledge.

Puerto Vallarta's Hidden Oasis
This property is located south of Puerto Vallarta and is a gated resort with access to the bus line just outside the property that takes you into town in 20 minutes. The view of the resort and ocean is spectacular! This being an all inclusive resort gives you access to many dining options. It includes an Italian restaurant, Sushi restaurant and a buffet restaurant just to name a few. The maid service in the rooms is very good. Every room overlooks the numerous pools where you will enjoy the beautiful, lush landscape of palm trees and hibiscus flowers. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the iguanas bathing on the rocks. At the beach there are so many fishing boats waiting to take you on a snorkeling trip to Los Arcos or cruise along the shoreline and visit Boca, a small Mexican village for local food and drinks. Not far from the property is the Puerto Vallarta zoo and nearby you will find an original helicopter prop from the movie Predator next to a waterfall. Back at the resort the are numerous activities; pool games, dance lessons, a children's activity center and nightly entertainment. Barcelo Puerto Vallarta is truly stunning where you can stay completely on the property to relax or enjoy the immediate surroundings and take in many tours offered throughout Puerto Vallarta, such as whale watching or zip-line through the jungle.

Very nice location,clean hotel Lots of amenities and food choice Rooms are large and clean and most have nice view,ask for a higher floor room Beach not suitable for swimming but pool areas are very good and they offer a nice Adult pool for some quiet time. Will return again

Upon arrival the woman at the front counter was rude. She tried to charge us way more than double what the original price was due to an error on the booking. I originally booked for 2 people for 2 nights. They said the reservation was for one person. When we tried to add my sister they tried to charge us almost triple the original booking. I’ve stayed at this resort 7 or 8 different times. I’ve never experienced this kind of horrible service. They even accused me of throwing an empty can at them. The can was on the counter. When I grabbed my ID and passport it knocked over. I asked for a refund on the amount already paid, they refused.

Staff are wonderful
We stayed here for a week in January. It is by far one of the most beautiful locations we have ever stayed in. We found the resort to be clean and well manicured. All staff we came into contact with were very nice and personable. Food was palatable and well presented. The taco bar for lunch was excellent, as were all of the al la carte restaurants. Room service was always prompt and warm. We also enjoyed the perks of part of the Premium Level, the lounge was a nice place to play a card game and unwind. The Cantina was always fun and the staff worked tirelessly to keep our drinks full. We enjoyed the entertainment staff around the pool, and how they tried to get people to participate. The walk into Mismaloya was quick and easy, it was neat to see all the different architecture. Overall we had a great week and truly enjoyed all the staff. We will be back soon!
