Mar 26, 2025Fabulous Resort for families!!
We did the family suite & it was amazing. This resort is smaller so great with kids as you can easily get back to the room & around in general quite quickly. Premium level was nice as we got access to a special lounge & more restaurant bookings. The most gorgeous views of the ocean from the rooms. Pools were gorgeous, my kids spent the entire week swimming. It’s also right on the beach and easy to access, some shopping along there too so that was cool. Food was great, breakfast buffet was amazing and had everything you could want. Lunch I highly recommend skipping the buffet and doing the taco bar in the cantina! 10/10 tacos. Dinner buffet was really good most nights, some nights just average. Dinner Restaurants were good too but nothing outstanding. Downside there was no actual Cafe so that sucked. The coffee with breakfast was great, but there were no legit lattes or really good iced coffees. The one cappuccino I had at the Italian restaurant came from a machine that made it from powder and it made me really sick. That was the only bad experience though. We will come back to this resort I’m sure at some point, great for families with small kids as it’s a smaller size, has a kids club, lots of activities, and isn’t a big party location.

Wonderful place to relax!
We enjoyed every minute at this resort. The staff works incredibly hard to ensure that you are comfortable and well served. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept!

Mar 25, 2025Had fun. But wouldn’t go back. Been to better for cheaper.
Food wasn’t great. Bar service was lacking with long waits especially in the pool. No kids allowed in the family hot tub even with an adult. And the pool is too deep to stand and relax with a drink! We had fun but for the price you will have a better time at the RIU.

Average stay for the price. PROs Beautiful location and beach CON: Slow check-in, not enough food options. Needs more night entertainment. Some staff members need better training in hospitality.

Definitely not a 4 star!
The rating for this resort needs to be changed to a 3 at best. Rooms are super old and outdated, electrical issues. Resort food was so sub par. We lower our food expectations for mexico but this was really not good. Bad combos of foods that people clearly were not eating. Anything good like chips and quacomole at the buffet went fast and werenot restocked. Specialty restaurants were ok but nothing was great. Overall i would rate the food 2/10. Not enough staff. Cleaning of rooms is so late in the day. Would not recommend this resort! So disappointing.
