The bartenders at Carey bar near guest services was the best there is. I spent most of my time with those great people!!! YUBI is hands down the best ever bartender!!! You will have the most pleasant and enjoyable time if you have him as a bartender, that i promise....The resort itself is ok....food needs to step up...by alot...

    Not Great

This was the 3rd time and will the last time we go here, the Al a Carts were not great and the Coral Restaurant was horrible, we walked out and went to the buffet. We went to the French Restaurant ($35/Person, US funds) got violently sick afterwards went to guest services and told them about both and did absolutely nothing except recommend me to go to their Dr on site (additional cost of course) Entertainment this round was also not the greatest with the exception of the Michael Jackson show which was excellent. Guest Services for the most part not helpful at all, I only had one person there who was helpful (male, had European accent) wish I got his name as he was the only one knowledgeable and helpful. Front Desk stand offish, slow and not what I expected for a 5 Star Rating Hotel. We were so looking forward to this vacation all year and came back very disappointed. Will never recommend this resort or go back.

Pros and cons that i noticed

I dont hate it, id come back….but the beach is very rocky while trying to get in (fine once your farther out) i noticed i personally got hit by quite a but of plastic in the water and lots of seaweed floating around. Very good for seeing turtles (you can feed them bananas if you bring one). The restaurants are good but very hard to bring a child to them, as the availability is after 6:30. Alot of the kid friendly experiences such as bowling or surfing on a bodyboard, ect. Require a hight/ age limit (even if you reach the hight you need to be old enough). The buffet is okay, anyone can find something to eat but personally its not delicious.

    Non-working anemities

Disappointed with broken elevator and non-working balcony lights so we couldn't use our hot tub during our 37th wedding anniversary vacation
