We stayed at the resort for five nights and had an amazing experience. We were in a Royal level ocean view suite. The room was great with amazing views. Housekeeping was excellent and the room smelled wonderful. We had no issues getting reservations and ate at each restaurant once for dinner. We found the food to be quite good. The beach was amazing and it was really nice to have the complimentary blue floats. My husband and I both agreed that we would come back!

The hotel is nice and the staff were all friendly. It's really just a 3.5 star experience. Royal level isn't worth the money. The Royal level bars are far from the action and with the exception of the lobby bar the drinks aren't that fancy. There are rumors you can book restaurants ahead of time if you are Royal level but there is no info posted about that anywhere. So when you show up even as Royal level we couldnt get into the Royal restaurant except one night and the other nights dinner had to be at 9pm for a la carte. Lastly the pool chair situation is brutal. People all get up at 6am or earlier and reserve their seats with towels and spend almost no time in them. This hotel needs to either reno the pool deck so they can increase seating options or stop letting people reserve them with towels for hours. Lastly a bar across the street blasts music until 3am Fri Sat and 1am the rest of the week. That might seem like fun for some but it wasn't our thing

What a wonderful vacation for ten days. So much fun,wonderful people. We will definitely be back there. People are friendly, palm trees swaying,and water is gorgeous. Enjoyed the whole experience.

Barcelo Aruba 2025
My wife and I had another wonderful stay at Barcelo. The facilities are very clean and the service is second to none. Barcelo is on the beach so you can go out straight the back to the beach or the pool with a swim up bar. The sand on the beach is fine and great for laying or walking. If you are looking for nightlife you go out the front and there is plenty of restaurants, shops and clubs. We are checked in by one of the Royal Club concierges. Sandra, Veronika, Leslie & Marolyn see to it you are set up for a great stay. Our days start with our trip to breakfast at the Royal Club restaurant. On the way we are greeted by Ana who cleans our room every day. She has an awesome smile and is so friendly she seems like family. At breakfast we are taken care of by Melvin, Maria, Layla, Lissette Carolina & Karina. Every morning we are greeted by one of their friendly faces. Then it is off to the beach where the beach crew has set up the chairs and loungers. Again always giving you a friendly greeting and asking what they can do for us. We are served at the beach bar by Francesco. He goes out of his way to make sure your stay on the beach is the best. Always ready to make whatever drink you desire and always has a smile. When he is not there Omar fills in and he makes sure you are well taken care of. After the beach we go to dinner at one of the restaurants. Doesn't matter which one they all have friendly service and great food. The Italian is our favorite but my favorite meal was the fish and shrimp at the Arubian. Best fish I have ever had. We did dinner on the beach one night and was well worth the cost. Willie was the best. Made us feel like royalty and the food was great. On our anniversary we ate at the Royal Club. Joyce and Misial(?) made sure our anniversary dinner was special. Barcelo is truly a wonderful place with wonderful people who really care about what they do be it cleaning serving or preparing they are the best.

Jorman - Cocktail Waiter Pool&Beach
Dear Barcelo We had a wonderful stay at your resort in Aruba. It was made fantastic by your staff which were all super friendly and helpful We especially loved Jorman, who was extremely attentive during our time at the beach. He assisted us with our setup, drinks,…. He was as extremely pleasant keeping us hydrated, …. And also proved us expert advise on what to see, where to dine and interesting nighttime spots. Jorman was always there for anticipating our needs had a wonderful attitude. Thank you Barcelo
