Insult to Jamaican hospitality
This place is an insult to Jamaica. Noise- loud noise- all the time, everywhere. Not even Jamaican music. Same 3 Bob Marley songs blasted everywhere over and over. (My 9 year old walked around with her ears covered). There were horns and trucks beeping and you couldn’t find a quiet place. Terrible food. Only two buffets open the 6 days we were there. Same tasteless fries and cold cuts. Non-existent drink service (poured my own water from the service station more than once). No promised “a la carte restaurants” available. once, we got a reservation, but they cancelled it “with apologies”. terrible cafeteria-style food in the buffets. (And if you have food allergies, you’re dead- no attempt at separation. Limited serving pieces that go in everything). You couldn’t take anything with you (and they checked) so the kids were hungry in between meals (which was a lot due to limited hours). And they didn’t restock enough so it was a bit of a battle to even eat. Was looking forward to airport food by the end. Nonexistent hospitality. We’ve gone to Jamaica several times and always felt the people were so warm and knowledgeable. But at Bahia, almost everyone was suspicious and stingy. They have a ticketed towel system, one per person, no exceptions. No amenities- no tissues in the room or body lotion. One bottle of water per day in the “minibar” (for three people). Even the beach bar was “unavailable” open only to “exclusive guests” (no one was there). There was a “no” for everything we asked as if us being there was an inconvenience. It was so disappointing and not what I’ve come to expect from this island. Only bright spot was the spa. If you do throw your money away on this joke of a “resort” at least ask for Moheal at the spa. She really was amazing.

Need to ask questions
Very nice hotel. There are improvements still need in some room. Do check with the concierge if you have any questions about the restaurant or shows at this resort. Employees don't know what is going on unless it is in their area of work. Web site is tricky as you may have to login often. Great food.

Rude staff at reception desk
People at reception are so rude. They take ages to get things done. The entertainment staff were amazing which is why I gave the one star. I shouldn’t feel insulted on a holiday. So appalled. If you have any issues, do not expect them to be sorted.

Great property but Poor customer services and Maintenance.
The property is exceptionally great, and services too. Just that some of their customer services are very poor, with the exception of (Kerry-Ann of Front desk and Ricardo of the Nyam) restaurant, who were super fantastic. These guys were great and on top of their jobs. The tv too was very small and our toilet was very bad.
