Mar 30, 2025Items removed from our room while we were out..
Very nice resort,my daughter loved the pool and kids Waterpark and staff was friendly my biggest disappointment is that my Ray ban aviator sunglasses were removed from the sunglass case and the case was placed back into my luggage empty,while we were not in the room ,when I reported them missing I was advised that they are not responsible for valuables if they were not placed in the rooms safe...very unprofessional for a 5 star resort!

Mar 28, 2025Great resort, outdated rooms
Resort is nice, employees are awesome and buffet is excellent, specially Fernando’s omelette, delicious and served with a warming smile. Great attitude to start the day. Restaurants a la cart need more options. Food is just ok. I recommend sticking to the buffet. The worst part was the room. Outdated, tv lacks guide. Almost impossible to find channels. Mattress is super hard. Shower water temperature is very hard to control. Resort is great, rooms are not so great.

Mar 25, 2025Avoid at all costs
This was the worst resort I’ve even been to and I have been to many. The air conditioning in my room did not work. I called as soon as I got there and they sent someone who opened and shut the balcony door and said the sensor must have caused the issue. The room was as hot as it was outside. So I tipped him and hoped it would work. It didn’t. I called again and was told it was a known issue. The hotel was booked and my 4 year old son and I had nothing but a fan. Finally on day 6 of our trip I came back to the room and the ac had leaked all over the floor and coffee maker tray. Someone came at 10pm and fixed it but I was responsible for cleaning up the room. I never got a new coffee maker they just left all the wet broken things. Also, the pool is as warm as the air and the bugs are the worst I’ve even seen. I will never go back. What a disaster and a huge waste of money. Many dishonest employees who will say anything to get you to leave them alone but there was no follow through. This was my sons first trip. I feel so bad he was so uncomfortable the whole time. Also, in the front lobbey there was a sales pitch where you get a gift card for the gift shop. They refuse to talk to unmarried women because apparently we don’t have money to buy a time share. Infuriating place, avoid at all costs.

Another great trip to the Bahia Principe Fantasia resort! My family and I visited this same resort last March and we just knew to come again! This trip was excellent, the pool was extraordinary, beach was great, all staff were helpful, and the food at the Laminar Buffet were absolutely delicious!! Laminar Buffet - The staff at this buffet were very kind. Thanks to Frandy, Bryan and Edward. A separate thanks for Juan Carlos for making our visit there another great stay as we saw him last year and he remembered us! He gave us 1 champagne bottle as it was our last day and was very very kind. Another special thanks to our dear friend Ruben. Ruben, who we also met last year, is one of the best people my family and I have ever met. He has been such a great person to be around. He is such a hard working guy and always brings anything we request. He is a kind soul and deserves everything!!

Perfect vacay!
We just returned from our stay at Fantasia, and I can't express how grateful I am for the experience! From the moment we entered the lobby, my daughter was in cloud 9. We had the chance to explore their other resorts as well, and every moment exceeded our expectations. The warmth of the Bahia community and their hospitality truly made our stay special. The entertainers put on outstanding shows, and I felt very safe with security personnel readily available. The rooms are outdated but the cleanliness made up for it. The cleaning staff were attentive, ensuring that any spills in the buffet were taken care of immediately. The food was absolutely incredible, as always. Bahia never disappoint, which is why we keep returning to their resorts. It truly feels like a home away from home. Thank you, Bahia, for another unforgettable experience!
