We had the ocean-front room, and the view was great! There are many restaurants around, and the shopping strip is near. The staff was helpful in storing our luggage before and after our stay. The property is older, and space a little tight for 2 queens, however, the hospitality more than makes up for it. There's a mini fridge and a Keurig machine. Comfortable stay.

exceptional location for the average holidaymaker with exceptional staff who really do care
This hotel's location is perfect for the average holidaymakers who can't afford luxury hotel prices to get an oceanfront sea view. Amazing view and location. Pink line stop just across the street. Equalling that is the exceptional staff care of their guests - they really do try their best and treated us so well.

Nice stay at Aston Waikki Circle Hotel.
Older building, small room sufficient for our 2 day prior to cruise short stay. Hotel is clean, ocean front view with great balcony, air conditioner worked great, two double beds, received refillable water bottles, and able to get beach towels, Centrally located on Kalakaua Avenue and directly across from Waikiki Beach and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Completely Unacceptable Service! I regret to say that my experience at Aston Circle Waikīkī was marred by poor service and unprofessional handling of billing issues. I paid for an upgrade to an oceanview room in cash upon arrival, along with a holding fee charged to my card. However, no receipt was provided for the upgrade at check-in. When I checked out, I was charged for the upgrade again, and the holding fee was not refunded. Attempts to resolve this issue with the staff were met with complete disregard. I was shut down without any explanation or transparency, and my concerns were ignored. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to make things right is completely unacceptable. Despite the nice view and friendly staff, this incident reflects a hotel that does not prioritize customer service or integrity. I now understand why this place has so many low reviews—many other guests have clearly experienced similar issues. **P.S.** John, the person who handled my upgrade, was wearing an eyepatch (sometimes without) and had a limp. He’s the one who took my payment for the upgrade without providing any receipt. Be cautious if you interact with him.

The hotel staff and service was up to my expectation, however my email correspondence with the hotel administration prior to my arrival was at its worst. I have sent 4 emails and got no reply at all, so at the end I had to contact the hotel administration via a phone call.
