Hotel Overview
A choice of one & two-bedroom suites, studios, and hotel rooms make the ten-acre oceanfront resort an ideal retreat for families, friends traveling together, couples, and destination wedding groups. All studios and suites at the Aston Kaanapali Shores offer fully-equipped kitchens for 'at-home' convenience. Washers and dryers are available in all one & two-bedroom suites. WiFi internet access is provided in all units.
With one visit to the grocery store across the street, you can fully stock your refrigerator and cabinets with all your favorite foods. If you prefer to be served, simply visit the oceanfront restaurant and bar, where you can enjoy delicious contemporary island cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Many other fine restaurants, shops, and galleries are located nearby.
Aston Kaanapali Shores offers two pools - one near the ocean, the other nestled in our garden (ideal for kids). You can also take advantage of our many other amenities, including lighted tennis and shuffleboard courts, a fitness and massage center, jet spas, complimentary scuba lessons, and a wedding gazebo. Parents will be delighted with our year-round Camp Kaanapali children's program.
Just the mention of Kaanapali conjures up images of tropical sunsets, year-round ocean recreation, and humpback whales spouting offshore from November to April. It's no wonder that the area was once reserved as a playground for Hawaiian royalty. Just north, snorkelers and scuba divers can swim amid colorful fish in pristine marine sanctuaries. And five minutes south is Lahaina; the former whaling port buzzes with its Friday night art walk, galleries, and trendy restaurants.

Honeymoon
Our overall 3-night stay was great. My husband and I were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and a shell necklace each by Maria during our check in. We arrived around 12 noon and had our room ready around 2 PM. I love that the beach is a quick walk from our hotel room. Having a grocery store nearby is also a huge convenience. The vibe at the resort is very relaxed and easy going.

We love the Shores. Everything we need. Perfect location. Friendly workers.
Perfect location. Walking distance to ABC store. Pizza Paradisio. And Star market for food shopping. Farmers market. Good swimming in front of the resort and great pools. The rooms have everything you need. Even washer and dryer. Toaster and microwave. Coffee pot.

10/10! We will be back soon!🤙🏾🌺
Oh my goodness this place was amazing. It was about a 45 min drive from OGG airport and 1090% worth it! The views on the way are just beautiful. Then you have the property. When we arrived early, our room wasn’t ready. So we had a delicious brunch at the on site restaurant. They let us know that the room was ready, still before check in time, and we thrilled to find out that we were upgraded to the two bedroom two bath larger wrap around balcony with panoramic views suite! Amazing! The view allowed us to see the surfers, sea turtles, and even a seal! The place is like an entire apartment, huge! The Hawaiian tropic hand soap bar, shampoo, condition, and body wash were a nice touch. We were also welcomed with a seashell lei and box of delicious chocolate covered nuts! Everyone was so sweet, especially Eleanor. She was awesome! I also appreciated that they text and you can reply for any needs, I.e. towels, toilet paper. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The garden, the kid friendly pool with waterfalls, 2 jacuzzis, and the 3-7ft pool right next to the beach were perfect. There is a huge connect four game and cornhole game next to the family pool. They also had dispensers for sunscreen. Right across the street, we enjoyed some of the restaurants and other shops. The whole family loved, and we can’t wait to return!

Not worth the cost
Terrible stay. We booked the Penthouse and arrived around 6:30pm. We had four senior citizens with 2 handicapped parents. No luggage assistance available. No luggage cart to our suitcase, just a small cart given to us. Same at check out at 9am, no luggage service available. Room condition was very poor - carpet dirty, sofa dirty and smelled bad. Hotel condition is quite bad too. We stayed for 2 nights and paid over $800/night but our room was not cleaned or trash picked up. Called front desk when we got back in the evening and they said we have to ask for service. Really!! We have stayed at so many hotels before and they provide room service. Honestly not worth the cost

We loved it
We loved the beach right outside the building. It was nice. There were two pools, we went to the back pool and usually there weren’t a lot of kids there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good.
