Dec 19, 2024Entertainment/music downhill!
Entertainment/Music - the week started with a ridiculous shuman ritual which gave us an indication that our entertainment for the week is all downhill. the lack of decent entertainment continued though the week with 2 soloists followed by a duet, saxaphone player and a mexican band (not for most of the listening audience). One night was a DJ upstairs which was a wonderful experience. Recommend - instead of penny pinching on live musice which wasn't appreciated use the DJ nightly between 9-11. It won't cost you a penny. Use Willy, the DJ, who has a great feel for what the audience appreciates. We were informed that they want a more holistic approach but the reality is it is all about the money. Thus we will not be back next year. Activities - would like to see water arobics daily not 2x a week. Last year it was on a daily basis. Dining - Buffet opened for breakfast and lunch daily but closed most of the week for dinner thus leaving us 2 a la carte restaurants which require you to make reservations the day of. One of the restaurants has one menu while the other one switches the menu from Mediterranean and Mexican but the mexican one did not really have many mexican options. Would recommend other themes such as italian or seafood.

Dec 19, 2024Terrific Resort - Great Beach - Quiet and Fun.
My review is based on the price I paid to stay at Armony. So Im looking at the value more than anything else. If you want an exceptional resort experience at a much higher cost this review really wouldn't be applicable. Overall I would very much recommend Armony. The location is secluded and away from any crowds. The beach is lovely white sand and has a gentle break - easy for swimming. There are very few people on the beach so it is quiet and serene. The resort grounds are beautifully laid out and spotless. With the highlight being the infinity pool over looking the ocean. The sunrise and sunset views are spectacular. This pool is also a great vantage point for watching the whales migrating, with dozens seen every day. The pool is a mix of quiet early in the day and more lively later in the afternoon. However there are other pools that are secluded and quiet all day, should you want peace. The buffet is very good with lots of selection and many fresh options. The formal restaurants are good, though coming from Vancouver, where we are spoiled by exceptional dining experiences, I would qualify these simply as an opportunity to get an elevated level of service and options for fine wine and better food choices. All in all the service at the resort is quite good. Almost all employees are helpful and enthusiastically interact with guests. I had a garden view ground floor level room that was very quiet. The bed was amazingly comfortable and services to the room were timely and everything that I wanted. The yoga instructor, Inessa, was exceptional! I attended her morning yoga class, and later afternoon stretching class. And the gym has everything you need for a good workout. I didn't use the spa but it looked quite nice. I met many other guests and found there was always an opportunity to mingle when I felt motivated to do so, bit also to find quiet and solitude when needed that as well. I did 2 excursions on boats. First I joined an existing excursion service, with whale watching and snorkelling, and second there were 10 of us at the resort that charted our own boat. Getting a group of people to charter our own boat was much, much better. It was more expensive but everything about the experience was improved. I highly recommend choosing option 2 if you can. And there were so many whales and dolphins! Note: both excursions had staff that demonstrated respect for keeping a safe distance from the animals. This was good to see. Having said that while we were stopped and drifting 2 huge whales breached immediately beside the boat (we had no idea they were there). It was amazing t see these incredible animals! All in, I have no problem recommending Armony. And I will return again.

Didn’t Want To Leave
Linda and I thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to the Armony resort in Punta Mita Mexico. We brought a couple of friends with us on this visit. Our concierge, Juan made our visit extra special, ensuring that we had reservations at the various resort restaurants nightly and of course our favorite beach chairs pool side and at the Beach Club. Juan was there to take care of all of our needs. Mucho gracias, mi amigo. Especially enjoyed playing Uno and Jenga beachside with Andre, Sandra and Juan. Special shoot out to Brenda. Her energy at the guacamole making and tequila tasting was infectious. Anna’s Wet Black Jack was a lot of fun. I can’t believe she won the final round. All and all an amazing experience. Can’t wait until we return in 2025. 7- days is not enough time at this place.

Amazing Spa Experience
The spa is excellent! My husband and I went twice during our short stay at the resort and everyone provided the best service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive and the massages themselves were just the best. It was money well spent to have multiple experiences here. The world experiences are absolutely incredible!

Feeling sexyyy at Marival resort!
We had a wonderful experience at Marival Armony! On the first day Brenda took us on a lovely nature walk of the property. Ana Perez was excellent in the fashion show. And Andrew was a lot of fun during the aqua fitness class!! Of course, big thanks for our coordinator, Carlos for assisting us during our stay. He took care of everything from booking tours and restaurant reservation to contacting room service. Great location, great team, 100% recommend!!
