Didn’t read reviews until after arriving and seeing the state of this place. Wrong move not to do this prior to booking. Booked wanting something a bit cheaper after a big trip in America. Silly mistake. Photos aren’t anything like what is reality. Cockroaches, smell, faulty electrical, mould, etc. so much more. Have never written a review before but felt the need. Pay the extra couple hundred a night otherwise you’ll regret it. Looking for positives, staff seemed nice, and it is a good location.

Dec 17, 2024I did not know the payment of a fee of carrying suitcase from airport.
I could not use the cooking heater. As I would like to cook, I was sorry for that. A coffee maker and a microwave oven also does'nt work. The curtain was broken and it was patched with tape. Though the room was clean, the facility was not perfect.

The title of my review says it all. My overall feeling is the lack of warmth coming from most of the front desk staff, as if “Aloha” didn't mean much anymore. Sometimes you get a rude answer, or they don't take the time to properly inform you. But the hotel is very, very well located, so this detail is quickly forgotten.

No frills hotel, in the heart of Waikiki
One of the more budget friendly accommodations in Waikiki. Has valet parking for an additional $45 a night. In and out access for car which is a plus. Great location, about a 10-15 minute walk from beach, and right outside to a plethora of shopping/dining options. Very walkable. Room we stayed in was pretty dated, and shower needs some repairs. Got the suite option, as it came with a stove and fridge, as well as some plates and utensils if you decide to cook a meal. Front desk will give you cards upon check in to redeem a snack bag. My wife and I managed our expectations accordingly. Hotel staff are very friendly and housekeeping is available daily. Small pool perfect for kids, and laundry is onsite. Laundry does require quarters, but front desk will happily exchange bills for them. Overall, decent hotel, in a prime location, with valet parking, but manage expectations.

When we arrived, we noticed the hotel was clean and the staff were welcoming. One of the employees recommended a restaurant and it did not disappoint. Judy was accommodating and friendly! She cleaned our room and she did a great job with it. The location of the hotel is a great spot if you’re into trying different food and exploring the city.
