We recently stayed at this hotel during our trip to Waikiki and had a mixed experience. Let me break it down: The Good: -Pet-Friendly: It was fantastic to find a hotel that welcomed our furry family members. -Valet Service: The valet service was efficient and made parking a breeze. -Spacious Rooms with Lanai: The size of the rooms and the lanai were perfect, giving us plenty of space to relax. -Great Location: The Waikiki location is unbeatable, within walking distance to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. -Outstanding Staff: The staff were friendly, helpful, and truly the best part of our stay. -Reliable Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay, which was a big plus. -Cold AC: The air conditioning kept the room really cold. -Kitchen: Having a kitchen in the room was a great asset and made it easy to prepare meals. The Not-So-Good: -Pillows: Unfortunately, the pillows were hard and flat, which made it difficult to get comfortable. -Cleanliness: Room cleanliness left much to be desired. Under the beds was extremely dirty, and we even found a sock that didn’t belong to us. -Kitchen Supplies: While the kitchen was a great feature, it lacked a full complement of silverware, bowls, cups, and other essentials. This made it harder to make full use of the space. -Breakfast Options: While breakfast was available, the variety was severely lacking. A few more options would have made a big difference. The Worst: Noise from the Club/Bar: The club across the street was a major downside. Loud, drunk patrons kept us awake until 5:00 AM, disrupting our family’s sleep. This was a serious issue for us. While the hotel had its positives, the noise, cleanliness concerns, and limited kitchen supplies impacted our overall experience. If these issues could be addressed, it would make for a much more enjoyable stay.

December 2024 visit
It is true that this hotel is outdated - both upon arrival and the room itself, but what it lacked in visuals, it made up in charm and friendliness! The location was great as it was within walking distance to the ocean, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Oahu. Visually, yes it feels old but they did a great job in making it feel warm and inviting! The rooms could use a modern and updated touch, but it didn't matter for us as hotels are really just a safe place to lay your head down at night! The staff was awesome - super friendly and gave you the feeling of going "above and beyond" for service. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

Great staff!
Just remember you get what you pay for. For the price, the cleanliness was good, location was great and all the staff at this hotel were awesome! I witnessed them and experienced there willingness to ensure all guests were happy. They made sure you knew about things happening around town and they were a great resource for exploring.

My Oasis in Waikiki
Enjoyed this comfortable boutique hotel, again. Wonderful staff, very helpful & friendly. Great views from my balcony; kitchen and sofa were added comfort. When you don't want to get lost in the crowd & no one knows your name!!! Convenient and close to everything in Waikiki.

Good hotel and location, GREAT staff. Hotel needs a facelift
We had a good stay at the Oasis. It is extremely well located in downtown Waikiki amidst the hustle and bustle of Lewers Street. A short walk to the beaches and trolley stops. We had a suite on the 7th floor facing the backstreet. Good balcony but noisy on weekend days. The hotel is a bit tired looking and needs a bit of a facelift - but the staff was excellent and friendly at all times. After spending 8 nights at this hotel, we appreciated the costs and location. My ONLY real compliant is the continental breakfast. It is a little light in the amount and quality of breakfast foods - a combination of cereal, bread/toast, some sweets and coffee. At the very least I wish that they would have coffee available throughout the day. Rooms were clean with fresh linen - but the beds not too comfortable (very hard, with stone pillows). Overall, a good stay (3+/5)
