    Don’t rush to Bumbye Beach Bar. Set on the edge of our lagoon pool near Mokapu Beach, Bumbye is a place where morning slowly drifts into day. Set your pace to “island time,” and take a moment to relax. Later, as lunch arrives, enjoy island inspired bites and cool cocktails. Then try restaurant dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients and influenced by the diverse ethnicities that shape Hawaiian culture in Wailea.     Had a great time while in Maui and staying at the Andaz.

    I've stayed at the Andaz since it opened in 2013. The hotel could use some refreshing as wear and tear is starting to show. Issues with housekeeping and cleanliness but overall we had a great time. There were a few individuals who went above and beyond during our stay and I feel worthy of mentioning. Jenny and Elijah, who work at Ka'ana Kitchen for breakfast, were especially outstanding. Both are outgoing and personable, provided excellent service, and even remembered us from previous visits, which made our experience feel truly special. Kamealoha Lum Ho, who checked us in, went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful stay and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Darius, from the pool area staff, also stood out with his warm and engaging personality. Their exceptional service made a lasting impression and contributed greatly to our overall experience.

    Wish we could have stayed longer...

    We had high expectations and they were exceeded. The grounds and pools are lovely, pool chairs were easy to come by and the beach in front was great for swimming. Our room was not ocean facing, but we had a great private porch overlooking a garden. The beds were very comfortable, and the big shower was a hit with our family. Little touches such as complimentary Andaz water bottles with filtered water and a quality coffee maker made our stay even easier.

    It’s so worth it!

    We stayed at the Andaz for the first three nights of a longer vacation. It is an expensive hotel but we really wanted to try it. We are so glad we did! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, without exception. We have stayed at hotels where the mandatory “resort fee” basically allows you to use the pool. The Andaz gives you so much more, including activities such as kayaking, outrigger canoe, and stand up paddleboard. We especially enjoyed our time at the quiet, adults only pool. The service was great, and the food and drinks were enjoyable. We also liked our dinner at the Ka’ana kitchen. I hope to be able to visit again soon!

    Beautiful Property

    This was perhaps the nicest of the 6 hotels we stayed at during our recent 3 week trip to Hawaii. I wish we had been able to spend more time at the hotel, but, being on vacation, we were out and about most of the time. Facility is super clean and lovely. Lots going on there. Good central location in Wailea - easy to get around to see things in Maui.

    Great Everything!

    Great beach, great pools, great breakfasts, great service, great value, great everything! Seriously, I cannot find anything to complain about. Beds were luxurious. ALL staff were so friendly and helpful. The valet people were On It! The view from the lobby was amazing. We chose to spend time in the lobby because it was such a nice view!
