Absolutely the best experience.
We booked our stay here for 2 weeks and we are just starting our second week. It's safe to say this place is 5 stars, it doesn't get any better. For starters, it's a perfect location almost all the museums are only minutes away by walking. There are so many restaurants again, in walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable. The only negative for me is, there could be more storage for cloths. But, using luggage racks is an easy fix. The staff and service at this Marriott is probably the best I've seen. They do everything and anything to make sure your stay is the most comfortable. They genuinely care. I can't say enough good things about everyone here they are just the absolute best. Extremely attentive to your needs. I have lots of names I'd give a shout out to, but I'm afraid of missing someone so I won't. Besides, there are too many to mention. The staff are just amazing wonderful kind people.

Way, way, way over priced
The hotel rooms are way, way, way over priced. Not just the rooms, but the restaurants as well. The bar/restaurant (for "brunch") and the Midtown Grill for dinner are ridiculously over priced as well. Went to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe to save some money. Seriously not worth the massive dollars to stay here. Next time, I'll pick another place.

Amsterdam Marriott Central
Housekeeping was less than responsive and minimal service. Used glassware items were not replaced in the bath or bar. Outside containers were not removed , water bottles not refilled each day. Our maintenance request to tighten a fixture and replace a broken hair dryer was never responded to at all. Hotel appears old dark and dated. This is not an inexpensive accommodation and the withheld a security deposit daily on top of the room charge that I believe was not made know prior to our arrival. Now, Erban,and the other concierge’s were amazing and willing to ensure you got to what you were looking for. Franz, our valet, by assisting us get a taxi after Uber was vital to getting to the airport on time…Thx you guys!!

Great location but pricey for what it offers
Great location, but seemed more targeted to tour groups than I expected. Certainly overpriced for what it offers. Our room was tiny, and modernist decor left little room to hang clothing or put it in drawers. Had to live from suitcase. Also, bathroom door is frosted glass, so leaving light on at night is very bright. Also got a little lecture from front desk staff about our special rate, which was not appreciated.

Wonderful experience, would stay again
This was one of the top hotel experiences. Location is great, it’s near the museums and not too crazy. If you get brunch at Midtown Grill, the food is delicious. The service is superb with every single staff (shout out to Catherine of guest relations) is kind and takes the time to answer your questions. Room is clean with cute decorations, and they even have a lounge area in the lobby in case you arrive earlier than your check in time. Would definitely stay again!
