Nice but be carefull of tricky receptionist
We checked in on 28th March at arrpund 19.00 and checked out on 30th March 2025 Mr. Frans and Mr. Haci at car service and also Alex were very nice, friendly and helpfull Mr. Ahmed at hotel receptioni was very tricky Please take him under a good observation especially when he handle non european tourist He always position him self so that cctv camera can not see clearly what he is doing with his two hands a little bit under the front desc How could 2 international visa cards which were already used in Frankfurt and Dubai one day before, didn^t work at your amsterdam hotel lobby when we wanted to pay this 200 euros deposit. So my wife had to pay with banknotes My wife get tricked as Mr. Ahmed said it was only 3 bank notes of 50 euros when she wanted to pay 200 euros deposit My wife didn^t want to argue because she was so tired after a 16 hours flight from jakarta I just landed from Frankfurt and i did not stand close enough to her as i though that she could do check in easily as usual. Since Mr. Ahemd insist that he only got 150 euro , after a short discussion she took another bank note of 50 euro to give to Mr. Ahmed. My wife has 20 bank notes of 50 euros in an envelope. Later in the room she checked the rest of the money was 750 euros. So...it means at the beginning she did hand over 4 bank notes of 50 euros. And Mr. Ahmed at reception with a very fast moving hands and fingers just took away one bank note I was and i am still very dissapointed with this attitude and tricky way of ^foolishing^ tourist

Disappointed but great location
Location is great..BUT.. Disappointed! It is not the Marriott Amsterdam customer focused hotel like it was before from the front desk staff to the bartender employees. Upon check out we were never asked how was your stay or even a thank you for staying here as a guest or even being a Titanium Marriott guest. The newly renovated and just opened bar area is very nice but the bartender and managers in suits were very unfriendly to us and other customers and not too pleased we used the "free" drink coupon scratch off we got a check-in for the hotel anniversary. Why do this if its a promotion employees do not want us to use! The M Club breakfast food looks good but food is not hot or even warm. In the evening the signs for some of the food for allergy alert was not correct, pointed out to employee and was told it was correct.. it was not! Be careful if you have food allergy. It's just not the welcoming hotel it was in the past.

Great service and welcoming check in
So far we’ve had a great checking experience. Ahmad and the entire staff have been extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms is clean, modern, and has a great view of city center. Amenities appear to be very nice and the location of the hotel is fantastic.

Disappointing Stay at Marriott Hotel Amsterdam
I am disappointed with my stay at the Marriott Hotel in Amsterdam. I have been here for three days, and the bed linens have not been changed. This lack of cleanliness is unacceptable for a hotel of this reputation. When I raised my concerns, the staff seemed indifferent. I hope they improve their housekeeping standards. As of now, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Terrific experience at the Amsterdam Marriitt
We recently spent five nights at the Amsterdam Marriott. The hotel has a great location and is walking distance to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh along with many fine restaurants. The hotel staff was professional and eager to help us in any way A shout out to Johann at the Concierge desk and Charles at the M lounge. We would return
