Loved that it wasn’t an over crowded resort.
Overall we enjoyed being able to find a seat either at pool side or at the beach. Very clean resort and staff were very nice. 5 min walk to beach from anywhere, it was nice to see many generations of families all enjoying each other and meeting up. Great family get away spot !!!

Best part is the beach! ⛱️
The Allegro has an amazing beach. The best part of this entire resort is the white sandy beach. The rooms are very small, but very well appointed. A great layout for a smaller resort. The frontdesk, bartenders and maids were all great, no complaints about this. The al a carts we enjoyed very much, best place to eat. The biggest disappointment was the buffet. But over all we had a fantastic time and loved the beach!

Great time!!!
Had a blast! Love that there is a stretch of sandy beach, wonderful service, friendly staff, super clean, dive shop on resort, pier for scuba boat pick up, fun entertainment, easy to get around resort, not a busy resort, laid back, always stocked fridge. Overall a very good stay. The ONLY thing I didn’t like was the food. It was just okay. Would love to have more restaurant choices…hibachi was always booked. We stayed 7 days and never got to do hibachi because it was always booked yet the restaurant was never full. Just limited staff is guess, so that was a bummer. We upgraded to premium thinking we would have better food, but the only food I liked was the breakfast. The buffet is not appetizing, it’s not really good at all. They need to get better quality food and better tasting food for lunch and for buffet. The Mexican restaurant was really good and the Italian restaurant was too. Breakfast at premium is good. My only suggestion is BETTER BUFFET FOOD!! And the rooms are small too but that isn’t too big of a deal because we didn’t stay in our rooms other than to sleep.

Great resort with great service!
We visited this resort for 2 weeks in premium with great service in the Bella Rosa lounge . Omar,Alfredo,Christian and Luis make thisiplace memorable. The beach,,the grounds are meticulously kept. Cynthia kept our room clean and replenished everyday. The food at buffet and all restaurants were excellent . Ingrid in the buffet remembered what we drank when we went.we loved this resort and will definitely be back.

Better options in Cozumel
This was our first trip to the Allegro in 25 years. Check in was smooth. The rooms are in palapa style four-plexes. The rooms are small, with limited amenities, and in need of an upgrade. Our main entry door allowed.daylight (and bugs) in. We upgraded to the premium level, which provides benefits that do not compensate for the price increase. The beach is nice with plenty of loungers. Food at the buffet was fair but repetitive. Limited signage regarding food ingredients. One of our group has food allergies. Replenishment of popular items was slow. Service was abysmal. Getting drinks was difficult, getting refills required flagging someone down. Not once did I get a coffee refill without asking. We ate at the Mexican restaurant: food good, service better. The Oriental restaurant was best in food and service. Housekeeper Silvia, did an excellent job. We have stayed at other all-inclusives in Cozumel, so we are familiar with the level.of service others provide. The Allegro does not meet the same standards.
