The property is beautiful but the way you book the restaurants and the restaurants themselves is not great. Asian restaurant is the best from what we heard. Henri Mass was an excellent server for us. We would highly recommend the breakdance show and the México show. Angel was also awesome running all the activities and announcing the shows.

Good stay
Had a good stay. The rooms need some improvements but liveable. Staff are friendly, plenty of options for food although breakfast gets repetitive, although you can always find something

Family vacation
We just got back from Allego Cozumel. The resort is nice. The beach is beautiful and the pools. The staff is friendly. The wait staff are nice but do not go out of their way even if you tip. Maybe that is just their personality. We were in the First Club but it really did not mean much to us. Breakfast was not good there. Really, no better service. Nice resort for the money. Rooms are very small. Average resort.

This was our third trip to Allegro Cozumel during the past 16 yrs and sure we will be back. Kicking off the great week celebrating my wife's 50th birthday was Brenda making us TWO dinner reservations for the entire group of 21 family and friends sitting together. The Oriental Hibachi Grill and Captain Aurelio and his staff at the Mexican Restaurant were both fabulous (the Italian Restaurant not so much). The waiters, waitresses, bartenders, and room service staff were all super friendly and helpful. Daily beach and pool activities, as well as the evening entertainment and shows were a blast. Snorkeling and scuba tours, as well as self-guided snorkeling right in front of the resort were amazing. Alberto's crab shack (1 mile walk down the road) was an awesome evening outside the resort, and the restaurant across the street was also a nice break from the all-you-can-eat menu.

Nice hotel.
My second time at the Allegro. While I was in Cozumel specifically to SCUBA dive, the hotel has much more to offer. There is a nice splash pool for kids, wonderful swimming pool for relaxing after diving and lots of entertainment throughout the day. The food is good and the rooms are clean. The mattresses are a little hard for my liking. But that is a personal preference. What really makes this hotel great is the staff. From check in to check out, everyone I contacted was kind, friendly and welcoming. They truly made me feel like family. I highly recommend the Allegro Hotel.
