Basic, not worth £270 for one night.
So, I paid £271 for ONE NIGHT, as we were having a night away for my 40th birthday. To be honest, I feel utterly ripped off. The hotel itself is nice. Check-in was smooth. The room was clean but quite basic. It had a fridge that didn't work, had a shower head that wouldn't stay upright, and the minibar consisted of a carton of water. The phone had all the wires hanging out of it. There was zero information given regarding room service. There were no leaflets or booklets in the room, not what you expect for a supposed 4*. If I'm honest, it wasn't great and I won't be returning. The Premier Inn was better in my experience. The cherry on the cake was on checkout. I was asked to review at least a 9 on booking.com I said I may have done had I not been charged £200 more for a Saturday night in comparison to a Sunday, and he just laughed and said "supply and demand". I TOTALLY get that, but don't rip people off. It's a Travelodge dressed up as the Hilton.

Very good new clean hotel
Simple stay over so didn't experience too much. Room very clean and good size. No biscuits a little disappointing and coffee standard instant. Close to everything in northern quarter so would recommend a stay here. No obvious faults and pleasant greeting. Not sure why a 40 deposit is needed, not seemingly the standard thing.

Not a place we would stay at again
Dirty room mould in shower and dirt all around corners. Bring a warm duvet if visiting in winter! . Mentioned on checkout cold room and staff said it didn’t warm us the air con but could get a plug in heater, not ideal as a family in the middle of night to need to do this as paid 260 for one night…. However then asked us to review as 10 for customer service and pressured us to review on booking.com in front of the receptionist which we were uncomfortable with!!! Dirty toilets in reception too not a great place really

Well placed comfortable hotel
Perfect location for central Manchester and Northern Quarter meetings. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and comedy clubs for evening entertainment, just a short walk away. I would also stay here if on a leisure trip with my significant other. Could have done with more time to really explore the area, but sadly it was one night only.

Great stay in room 210.
We stayed here only for one night on a Friday to attend a gig in Manchester. I was looking on Booking.com for weeks trying to find something suitable (especially when I am extremely picky) and I finally settled on this place. I never looked at the reviews prior to booking and I booked a non refundable room. I then started to go down the rabbit hole of looking at reviews on Tripadvisor and started to regret my decision even more reading all the bad/mixed reviews lately but I can honestly say our stay was nothing like the sort. Upon our arrival we were greeted by staff and given our room cards and off we went! We stayed in room 210 on the second floor and it was extremely spacious. We had no noise from any other rooms and the finishing touches of complimentary drinks in the mini fridge was great. I slept great (like usual) but my partner said he struggled as the mattress was slightly too hard for him (but he does have ongoing problems with his back at present..) Especially the cold diet coke in the morning a night of drinking! Sometimes, you have to take the ‘risk’ that your stay might not be as bad as others and just go for it! I would definitely stay at this hotel again during my next over night stay in Manchester.
